i feel like an extremely realistic flamethrower would be way too overpowered because some of them can reach nearly 300 feet, but they were designed to kill, not be fair.

Not tested in CE. It might work but flamethrower will not use ammo, in worst case it will not shoot.

This looks quite fun, and I'll update after my next raid. Small gripe - the pre-build effective radius still matches the standard turret, while the built turret has a smaller (and more reasonable) actual radius.

Much appreciated. That flamethrower mod is stronk. 5 min after install I had a raid of 10 guys, 2 of them had flamethrowers, decimated my turrets in moments.

If Incendiary launcher gives mood to bonus to pyro then this should too, flamethrower works same way, it just shoots faster and explosions are smaller.

@czpetr yea but what if a pyromaniac wields this thing? does he/she get a mood bonus for using icendiary weapon like it does with icendiary launchers?

so basically what you want to do with this mod is put a concrete floor down on the perimeter of your base, then when a raid comes you create a fire line that the raiders have to funnel through, then you torch them as well. Or better yet, use this to light your gas chamber on fire to burn your enemies.

Done you can now craft it at machining table after researching gas operation, enemies will also bring it into battle now.
