I'm still thinking on making a tiered version of all his weapons.
this will take time as i also have the weapons tied into my Nekos Grand Mod Merger Project.
Each weapon grade modifies a weapon's stats.
I am currently on break from modding for Kenshi. Maybe I'll make one when/if I come back.
I must have deleted text in the description from earlier. The weapon is being compared to a Nagitana, but in regards to animal damage it can be compared to any polearm, since most, if not all, polearms do +50% damage to animals.(iirc) So +25% damage to animals is less than the standard +50%.
The normal attack modifier was +8, which I guess the devs either forget to tell us they changed it to +6 since this mod was released, or I missed it somewhere(I don't think I missed it).
I didn't mean to sound snappy at you, I am sick today. But I do reccommend you balance mods the way you feel is right for you, since the FCS makes it super easy to do. I need to consider balancing for a general audience though. It's been a while since I released this mod, but iirc, it is balanced well, but things could've changed. I'm taking a break from modding right now, cuz it is burning me out, so I won't be updating this anytime soon.(Not that I think it needs an update)
The animal damage is correct, however the attack modifer is now the same as the Nagitana, as it appears the devs made a change since the mod came out, however I don't recall them stating this change in the changelogs.
Despite that, the stats will remain the same for now, as it is still balanced.
If you just feel like being nit picky, then you are welcome to make a personal version of my mod and change the stat values as you see fit. You are not, however, allowed to redistribute/upload the mod anywhere.
It's finally released! Check description for link.
Thank you! :)
I should have my next mod coming out in the next 24-48 hours, assuming nothing important comes up IRL.
I am finalizing the implementation, buildings, and locations.
It's the biggest mod I've ever made for Kenshi, and the most time I've ever spent on making a mod ever, including for other games.
It includews 9 high-quality models custom made by me from scratch, rewards for certain major changes in the world state, 3 new locations, new crafting bench, blueprints, and materials. Also, Some new uses of existing textures, and some new textures(which I used existing game textures as a base for making, so I am not taking full credit for) and normals maps made from scratch too.
Hope everyone likes it :)
A heavy blunt damaging counter weight was what I was going for here.
It looks more like a mace instead of counterweight imo.
I think the counter weights for most type of yari is basically a bar at the end about the same diameter as the handle so it doesn't get in the way of grips on the end for long strokes and long stabs.
So thanks, looks cool as f***!
I felt the same way when I took the pic, but in-game it feels fine.
It's as long as the longest vanilla polearms in the game.
One thing I was wondering though is, would it be possible for you to have a look at making either a Scythe or Trident? Would love to see my Hive Farmers or Fishermen Running into Battle with one of them!
Here's the link to the War Hammer mod.

Mod Request Completed.
I literally did this mod in 3-4 hours before breakfast today, but it turned out surprisingly well.
Let me know what you think.
A hammer you say?... Sounds good to me! Should be pretty easy, hammers are simple shapes, although I think I'll try to spice it up a little.
I've already got an idea for it, ll start working on today... Might even finish today.

We have Frag axe, we have plank, we have falling sun, but we don't have a big ass giant hammer?
I do take mod requests, if it is something I am interested in.
Also, PLEASE for the love of god, keep in mind that Kenshi modding does not allow us to write code for plugins, so what we are able to accomplish IS LIMITED. To be honest, the modding community sometimes impresses me with what it can do within the current limitations we have.
Also, please don't make mod requests that would obviously take a team of people a year to do. I'm an easy person to get along with, but let's be realistic here. Also, please don't complain if I won't do your request... I am giving out content for free, no one has room to complain.
TLDR - Be respectful, be realistic. You don't have to show graditude, but please don't complain.
I am a seasoned programmer, and as soon as they release plugin support, I will go HAM, I assure you. I will make DLC sized mods, cuz I love this game!
That's quite a request, and a lot of work.
It's not something I am interesting in making.
I usually only make mods that I also use myself.
That being said I have made a building. Spent around 100 hours working on it too. I finished everything around 4-5 months ago, I was just never able to get the collison mesh working, and I tried every possible combination of doing stuff I could possibly imagine. It was so frustrating and derpy, that it's actually what caused me to take a break from Kenshi in the first place. Something may have been wrong with the modkit at the time, idk. Perhaps I will try to get the collison mesh working again sometime, but it's not high on my list.
Yep, I'm back :)
I was gonna wait until the new map quadrent was released, but I couldn't keep myself away from Kenshi any long.
Glad you like it :D
I'm already pondering what I'll do next.
