The Demons are added at the same value as the other races in all 12 factions i added them too.
I always encounter atleast one or two demons in each of those factions squads.
Are you sure its paint.net? It redirects me to warrenpaint which i think is something else
But i'm not trying to change the way the demons look, i actually like the skin, simply to remove the "bandages" from the ashdemons for example.
Now if it simply doesnt work together thats fine, it doesnt matter that much anyway :P
Which mod? I'm not sure what they've done to change the textures but If it's a similiar process to what I've done then each texture has to be altered and replaced in a mod file. I doubt there is an easy way to apply those textures to my characters.
Unsure if that is true but it would be cool for you guys
Glad you figured it out. Really cool that you could keep your old squad too.
I wish there were a way to do it in the fcs to make it happen during the game. The original idea for the first version of this mod was demons changing other races over :D
In the Narko mod I'm about done with, the population is assimilated into dark ones through town takeovers :)
But for anyone interested, i did find a way to get your imported characters to change races, this guide helps you https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1370334383&searchtext=save+editing .
Finally able to make my main character i had since the very beginning into the race i wanted!
Sorry but my experience with altering an existing save was not a good one either. >.<
You could edit the stats of the demon recruits in the fcs before recruiting them to match any existing character you want to replace. This would also require an import after changing their stats in the mod, then you just recruit them and rename them and dismiss the old squad member.
Ussually you can spot them but if your in a listed city and don't notice one, just talk with everyone with a chat bubble and you'll find the demon recruit eventually.
So what do you mean with you have to find them? Are they in a random location in the city or do they hang around at the bar like most ?
Can i find them in bars like most ?
If you wanting more recruits sooner though check out my Yes Master mod, almost every npc will be recruitable if they have shackles or you can just make them follow and help with mercenary commands.
I got you, but I'm not sure if it that is possible using a corpse furnace. The furnace requires a corpse and it instantly gets rid of the body. I have tried using that one for other things and because it instantly gets rid of the body there is nothing left to work with.
Demons as a seperate faction, no demons in other faction?, no recruits?
I have yet to put in a new city in a mod as it always seems to mess with pathing when using those mods for me, but there are lots of broken down towns that could be used for them like i did with the hub in bounty quest. Let me know what your thinking :D If your making your own mod though feel free as well.
I mean I wouldn't mine changing cannibalism to biting. But rip cannabilism then lol. Or create something similar to it?
It would all have to set up with dialog and merc type commands if anything, No bite, no temporary powers or anything is possible.
Let us bite sleepers as well! If possible, maybe have speed buffs, short term invincibility, other buggs, etc as powers?
Since i've learned quite abit more and recently learned how to make free merc type servants (see Yes Master mod) I was thinking about revisiting the idea too :D

I would like to see a mod that introduced 1 vampire into the world that could bite and change the character to vampire. If the player as vampire could use stealth k.o as "bite" and tie that into recruitment somehow then you could bite recruit and build a massive vampire army!
There is no way to change race in game sadly so it is impossible to do as a mod.
