cool,, sounds like fun, like a spontaneous creeper,, ngl that would actually make for some good ideas to be had with my 'resistance' scenario ive been working on like a suicide bomber type t-800, could send a couple in for 1st attack wave to do damage then the rest attack, that would be fantastic, so my question is, you sure its a bug and not a feature? lmao

Ai is Keen's wolf Ai in game, sounds like Keen screwed things up again in the last ghost hot fix 2 days ago.

NOOB question, how do I get my turrets to target them or is that possible. I love the mod but I hate when I come out the door and they are waiting for me standing on top of my interior turrets lol that I put on either side of the door to protect me. LOL

yes for that mod. it requires an addiional file added and the script thats in it removed to not interfere with other "wolf" type replacements

Pata..... keen npcs dont and cant damage structures, they too that out years ago.

As to the config... it delends if your running a server theres 2 folders called storage, check them both.

as for clearing bodies BJ1981, BuildandRepair will do so...

they dont get chance to get close enough to my base to do damage and they dont take much damage themselves, if you could melee attack id do that and save my ammo albeit they only take a few rounds and drop,, and considering they have weapons and i can see the loot they drop is totally random they never drop ammo?!? was that intentional?? cos id have thought id have got the odd weapon or bit of ammo from them when they drop but as its only a few components i dont even bother searching them for loot now, but its still funny watching the hordes get slaughtered while im sat safe in my base watching the fiasco unfold by camera feed, its all good, what i need now is an auto medic to clear the battle field of bodies after each wave lmao

Mmmh but i only use that mod in a test lvl.

But you didn't answered, should i create a storage folder withing my saves and put the xml there ?

(for instance modularencounter does spaw a storage files in my saves within appdata with xml cfg but not your's, only in the storage appdata space engineer folder)

Or the one in the main storage folder is used by any world loading your mod?

Don't get me wrong your mod is cool as f* : D nice work. Just trying to get it to work well and play with a friend.

then you have a mod conflict. in testing i had them respawning every 15 seconds 12 at a time.

What do you mean in the storage folder "for" your saves? Is it a different location than this one? aka a .xml for each world game saves?

also note you need to edit the XML config file in the storage folder for your saves / saves folder.

the units are not minutes. it seconds. what that you have done it will likley crash as that its constantly trying to spawn every second

Hello, the mod work but there is smth strange with the timing. I configured the invasionofwolvesconfig.xml with min and max time 1 - 2 and its doesn't seems to make them spawn faster (are those unit minutes?) puting 0.1 make the game crash.

I deleted the storage files and generated a new one to be sure. And i tried with 1 - 1 value as well, 0 doesn't make it faster either it seems. Is there a safe timer that overide from the game for wolves?

loving the mod,, this is brilliant,, adds a little variety into the somewhat mundane,, but,, was wondering could you add a setting to it at all, like changing the difficulty a little bit, make em a bit tougher, granted dont want to be wasting tons of rounds on them but 4 rounds, i was expecting a little bit of a fight tbf. i know i can ramp up the spawn times and amounts but its not the same ya know, that would just make it more like a round of zombies, but yes the mod works perfect, the initial spawn time takes a while, normally have to be on a planet for atleast a day before anything spawns which tbh is just the right amount of time to get set up enough to defend against them,, ie 1 interior turret at max range is enough to keep them away from base

so i just turn on wolves and get terminators running around? or do i have to put down a program block and run the code through it, then restart before it takes affect?? im curious,, id love to have something like this instead of having to download multiple modular scripts for actual npcs,, this would be good enough for a giggle, aslong as it dont take too much to get set up, ngl im a complete noob when it comes to coding, can build a pc with my eyes shut but cant do coding lmao

NOTE - After Keens Update for server optimizations today, to will need to DELETE the CFG file for this mod from your storage folder to prevent crashes, the mod will build a new one and all will be well.

ah then whats happening is they are spawning too far away from you, thats changeable in the config as well
