Yeah i dont have the concentration or patience to re-learn with the wheel and switch all driving aids off etc... the pad is fine for me atm, i still use cockpit view and that darn halo can be a pain to my braking points (i use the braking line assist as im sooo docile these days)

But yeah id like Mclaren to be more competitive in reality, but they're possibly the worst car/team in F1 right now! >.< in this game, they're like mid lvl right away!

gotta say i do like the extra resource points u get, plus needing less overall for newer upgrades, last yrs incarnation was real slow at upgrading the cars! (i can do circuit acclimatization, qual lap and race strategy sims, but usually thats all before qual, i dont wanna do tyre management and ers system and fuel saving stuff all before i do half distance races...gees too much man!)

just gonna try monaco i think, i HATE it lol, so lets see if your setup can ease the pain!

Yeah I noticed it as soon as I started making setups, Generally everything has to be a lot softer than last especially the rear, That's why no need for so much rear ballast. I'm enjoying the difference though so far! Suck about wheel to pad man! Although Pad does feel pretty good this year even without assists. I LOVE that McLaren is competitive lol

yeah Godspeed ha, it seems to work anyway, tho as i dont use a wheel these days, not sure if it would work as well for me with wheel and no abs or tcs, i have them on with the pad as im crap these days! i used to race GTR2 with the wheel online... oh the good ol days!

quick question about this yrs F1, you noticed a massive difference in the handling of the game in general? or think its close-ish to last yrs? im generally getting a more "floaty feeling" (or i was until i tried your setup) and also Mclaren are a little too competitive! >.O

That's the trick see! Get the car to be as stable as possible then strip as much wing off as possible then tweak the ballast to get the turn in stable. Now you know the secret! Haha. Glad it worked for you man!

I tried this on my Barca race & qual just now & i gotta say it was an improvement over my few clicks away from default base! also it surprised me how low you had the front wing, but it worked... im using a pad (360 for win) and it worked pretty good, will try your other setups!

thanks bud!
