Victor de Noir - shame. i didnt know it would attack you after aproaching towards the unit that damages it. I guess its not EXACTLY like the original EU beserker at all then : (

Ahh, the complaints of players who simply don't know what they're doing...gotta love it. Try these bad boys in LWOTC. Incredibly frightening, but if you actually know what you're doing, any enemy can be countered. THAT is what makes this a great game. Then again, none of you probably play LWOTC since it is "too hard"...

This enemy is busted. If it at-least worked like in EU, where it does approach the unit that caused it damage but without attacking (this is what I was thinking this mod would be). But given how it is, it is more dangerous than a ruler. If you get this guy in a reinforcement pod he can easily squad wipe without any counter-play. A badly balanced enemy overall.

This looks really good and it's left me curious; do you know of a mod that adds (well all of them would be nice however) the cyberdisc from xcom EU\EW to WOTC?..if not then when do you think you could make 1?

I've looked for years and besides this and armour from the games I don't think that I've found anything xcom EU\EW related for xcom 2 on the steam workshop...:steamfacepalm:

Where in the code can i deactivate bullrush? I hate abilitys like that. the rulers are rulers for a reason with their reaction type stuff. i tried o go to stuff in content but it did not deaktivate bul rush

The description "Armored Berserker has a stun immunity when her bull rush is activated. She can still be stunned . If you do not stun her on the first action of your first turn before she takes damage, her stun immunity will kick in." is false. It always has a stun immunity, regardless if she has taken damage or not. It would be nice if you could update that part of the description, because this misinformation has lead to a squad wipe.

The fact that Bull Rush can activate multiple times per turn while stunned is somewhat BS.

Bull Rush honestly doesn't mesh well with this game at all. Beat multiple games with this mod installed and Bull Rush always felt more like a lazy "haha take damage :)" because I'm winning, rather than an actual threat. There was one occasion where I shot the enemy and it killed my VIP escort and one shot it. I really don't think Bull Rush fits XCOM 2. A shame, because everything else about this enemy works great. Considering uninstalling purely because of Bull Rush. @Raksascha is 100% right on the money with this thing, especially with the priority given to the move for NO reason.

Yeah just confirming that after stunning it it will still activate bull rush and attack; doesn't matter if you are next to it or not.

If you stun this thing first and then damage it, the damage would still trigger "bull rush". So a technically stunned berserker can still damage and knock a soldier unconcious on reveal turn. That's kinda bs.

Other than that the mod is fine. That thing is a priority target for focus fire for sure.

Screw this, totally OP. One of these guys repeatedly wrecks a whole squad. The real problem is that the Bull Rush procs before anything else does, so even a Templar's deflect ability doesn't stop it.

Isn't the Bull Rush ability should be able to target enemies? Why so far in my playthrough, the armored berserker only charged to my units even though there's enemy units literally besides it?

when i had just mag weapons one of these fuckers basically ruined a terror mission because on beta strike this guy took the whole squad like 6 turns to kill.

It had been so long since I played XCOM :EU that I'd forgotten how to manage these guys. Luckily it came back to me pretty quickly. To be honest, on Legendary difficulty, the presence of these guys can actually make a battle easier, if you know what you're doing. It was exactly the same in XCOM:EU. You don't even need mind control.

By the way, the Templar's parry ability is super useful for safely(ish) keeping one of these things occupied until you're ready to prod it into bullrushing its ADVENT buddies. Fun times. :cozyspaceengineersc:

@dankerdood The mod is recommended for those looking for a challenge. Really all enemy mods are. You just have to learn of a way to address them. If you have other mods to ease the balance, then you should be fine—just a matter of testing it out.

I downloaded this mod thinking it was just a cool re-skin. Boy was I wrong. This thing is essentially a free version of the berserker queen where you don't have to download the alien hunters dlc. It literally bull charges everytime its shot, including overwatch.

I highly DON'T recommend downloading this mod. The concept is cool at first, but in practice, one of these things demolishes entire squads faster than any other alien could.

Is there any way to remove bull rush on this thing? I just had one of these walk in on the squad while they were in a ufo. Nobody was on overwatch, but my spark had hunter protocol and took a shot at the berserker while it was charging in. The shot activated bull rush and it ran over to my best soldier and knocked her unconscious instantly.

Sorry for bothering you guys again, not wanting to just use everything that you guys have however I feel like with this Berserker being themed after the EU one, I was wondering if like the Archon Warrior model if I might be able to use the Armored Berserker model or at least add it to the encounter list of the Immersive TLP mod that I'm working on.

I would not be altering the model in any way like with the Archon Warrior, the plan would be to either make a "weaker in stats" Armored Berserker because of conventional weapons or simply list the enemy from this mod in the encounter list in the TLP missions.

If the latter that would make it so people would be required to use this mod as well.

i have video proof of him getting an attack(the smash with the crippled effect) every time i shoot him or throw a flash bang in 1 turn, its the red boi dont worrie, still gotta find the green boi , also 9 dmg instead of 7 with no predator armor tech is kinda 1shot even with a non created equally (my mod list is Odd's mod list from the playthrough hes doing right now on YT maybe somthing is influencing your red boi ?)

are you sure youre not confusing this with the Berserker Omega? This Armored Berserker only does its bull rush the first time its attacked and damage is done once a combat phase.

this enemy is a miniboss, it will attack even if you have not revealed its pod and he-s in range for it (just came out of no where and destroyed my sapper) and it attacks at every action against it, on legend i have 2 against me right now and its a squad wipe. maybe needs to be tuned down a little also disorient does not block it from doing melee attacks.

Xcom1의 버서커처럼 맞으면 스킬 발동인데 얘는 움직이는게 전부가 아니라 아예 공격을 함.
사거리 길고 데미지 짱쌔고 방어구 깎는데 기절확률까지 가짐.
장난하나 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ아니 버서커 혼자 있을때를 상정하지 말고 여타 잔챙이들이랑 같이 나왔을때를 좀 상정해달라고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

변태들 말고 일반인 전용으로 좀 약하게 내줬으면 좋겠다 이대로 지우기엔 생긴게 너무 멋있어

Some of your enemy mods actually have the autopsy rewards listed. Or alternatively if the corpse just drops as a generic "berserker/insert enemy name here" corpse. Would appreciate if you would specify such on the mods that lack it.

The main reason I want berserkers to be able to scale walls is because on certain maps (mainly old worl city ruins) you can just park dudes on the fire escape ladders and completely neuter a pod of 9 berserkers (assuming such a pod were to spawn, but you get the idea XD).
