I've made an update. I limited the peaks of the drums in the audio file and managed to amplify the whole song by 3.5dB, increasing its perceived loudness.
The difference between the music in-game should now be less noticeable, let me know what you think.
The problem was actually with the existing Killing Floor music being 'dynamically bland', which is why I personally don't have the existing music on, which is why I didn't notice this problem myself. So thanks for the heads up guys, I hope it's better for you now.
