A different sort of run but enjoyable with a chance to take in the passing scene, love the dinky little loco, somewhat of a change to ours on this side of the pond. Many thanks for your work, Bill B.

LeadCatcher: Thanks much and I'll take a look at that weather.
LeadCatcher 6 Dec, 2015 @ 2:02pm
Nice little scenario -- had to edit the weather since with the 2015 change this route is now in the infamous orange fog zone -- other than that - a very nice run on one of my favorite American Steamers

RolandBP: Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment. Yes, the 2-8-0 is a lovely but challenging locomotive.
RolandBP 15 Aug, 2013 @ 7:27pm
Excellent, that is the first time I have been able to sort out how to run this lovely little loco.

jvlip: Thanks for your comments.
Mal39 6 Jun, 2013 @ 10:24am
the 2-8-0 is on the ftkent line
Mal39 6 Jun, 2013 @ 7:52am
the SCF branch has the old country appeal and that works perfectly with the 2-8-0
High Iron Simulations  [author] 5 Jun, 2013 @ 7:21am
cor726: Thanks much for your comment, and I agree, the 2-8-0 would be a nice fit for the Fort Kent line.
cor726 5 Jun, 2013 @ 7:17am
Excellent. If you are ever up for it I think the consolidation would look great on the Fort Kent Subdivision.

Smokebox: Great to hear from you. And yes, the OS2 route does make for a very nice setting for the 2-8-0 :)
Smokebox 5 Jun, 2013 @ 12:17am
Looks great! I'll have to treat myself to this route sometime soon.

cor726: Hope you enjoy it!

This one looks great. Richard Garber's routes are so good - it's a shame he is retiring from route building. I hope to give this a run tonight.
