i like your take on the gauss rifle, might if i suggest another overlooked energy weapon group, you should take a look at the pulse rifles.

Psh whats the point of effciently insulating the wires and capacitors for eletromagnetic enduction when we can show a more gruff look and say "Well it prototype!" Just like STALKER's gauss rail gun hybrid AND the Shadowstalker just because it looks cool with exposed wiring and tech doesn't mean it functions. It is quite the opposite. This is the best example of a good enclosed Gauss weapon/rail weapon. But I love the scope so my piont moot
