Can anyone explain to me how to have my colonists drink Spectago Tea? Doesn't show up in drug policies - I added the mod AFTER I started a game, so I'm not sure where to go

@Jochem285 @Jochem285 Unfortunately, XP type and rate are hardcoded in the DLL, so you can't edit the base files to change it. You can change the rate for all machines in the AJO mod config.

@Tyrant I'll look at it, but the only compatibility with Medieval Times is using graphic novels to craft bookcases. I'll add something similar to AJO.

Thank you. On another note, have you seen this new RimWriter mod? It adds a lot of features to books. I'm not sure if you can extend compatibility to it like you did Medieval Times, but it would be nice.

I used to have exactly the opposite problem in B18; had to keep forbidding my colonists from drinking all the damn spectago tea!

Well the default policies did not have it shown. But when creating a new one it shows up! I'm glad i don't have to forced tea down my pawns throat anymore ;)

@Thuen It is considered as a drug, but the base game doesn't update policies for new drugs. If you're starting a new save and this is the case, be aware that it doesn't have a "use for addiction" checkbox, but it should be there.

For some reason i can't find Spectago Tea when looking at my drug policies. Maybe i'm just an idiot and the tea isn't considered a drug? :)

@Grey Buddhist Please put the logs which show up when this happens and your modlist in the Bug Reports discussion, otherwise I can't narrow down what causes this.

Also, (for everyone else, not just you; I don't mind you violating a policy I hadn't announced yet): I will note down but delete any further bug reports in the comments section. Those belong in the "Bug Reports" section I have set up.

Did unsubscribe, then resubscribed.
First issue still there. When I craft a dartboard, it completes but nothing is there.
New/Second issue is bookshelfs. Had all the ingredients, crafted it, and when complete nothing is there.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

@Grey Buddhist The Steam workshop's really unreliable and unfortunately Rimworld blocks third-party downloads and I haven't had time to set up a github workspace yet. Your best bet is to unsubscribe, wait for Steam to finish "downloading," then resubscribe.

@Tyrant Not really. I got started on it today and it's looking a bit harder than I thought - not impossible by any stretch, but I can't work on it much during the week and I have a lot of stuff scheduled next weekend so I wouldn't expect it until next Sunday at the earliest. Sorry for any disappointment, but I don't have much experience with Harmony patching and figuring out how to override methods which return functions is pretty tricky.

1) You need to craft the homebrew game and arcade cabinet together in an arcade construction table.
2) Make sure your mod is up-to-date. That's a bug I fixed yesterday.

some questions:
1) I made an empty arcade cabinet, and a homebrew game, but when I click on the arcade (in my storage) it does not show any option to install it anywhere? How do I actually make/install/have arcades with games in my colony?

2) I tried putting up a dartboard 3 times. Each time it shows the green (where the dartboard will be, on a wall) and the white area (where the dart player will stand), and I put it up in a rec room with lots of room, but each time it gets constructed and disappears when it is complete. Is there some special way I have to place it to get it setup?

@Tyrant I could include it with this mod but it fixes a bug in the base game so it's a useful utility. Specifically, the game always subtracts 1 when dropping items even if you tell it to drop 100% of them, and the mod I have planned would fix that. It's actually pretty easy to do, it's just a bit of a PITA.

@Tyrant It's not, but a patch is forthcoming. I know how to solve the issue, but it'll be as a separate mod so you might as well load this in and stock up arcade cartridges. I'll ping you when I release it, probably in the coming week.

Just went through and did a big update:
- Fixed the bug reported by @Bonedragon1300, @Pesto Posta, @ELVISLIVES, and @dragon-rebecca where you couldn't place paintings on smoothed stone walls and if you placed them on natural stone walls they'd disappear. Thanks for the help tracking this one down, it was pretty elusive!
- Fixed the bug reported by @Vakaria, @Ectava, @Spleenter 🐙, and @malexlee1 where art descriptions didn't work.
- Added the XP type yielded by arcade cabinets to their descriptions as requested by @Gallonidas.
- Renamed arcade cartridges and cabinets to soothe my inner grammar nazi

Thank you for keeping this interesting mod alive!

Yet, I believe I encountered a bug regarding the paintings. If I try to place them at a constructed wall, e.g. wood, limestone, modded wood - everything works fine. If instead I attempt to place them on rough stone, it throws the following exception:

Tried to place thing AJO_MinifiedPainting18401 in a null map.

Constructed TargetInfo with cell=(112, 0, 100) and a null map.

And if I attempt to place it on smoothed stone instead, Rimworld tells me that I may only place the painting on a wall.

I don't know if anyone else had the same issue.
To exclude mod conflicts, I disabled all mods except AJO (and ModSwitch tbh) and still encountered the same behaviour.

Hey dninemfive!! Can you update the Arcade descriptions to give a **better clue** of what skill it uses? I mean many are EASY enough, like Halva Live, The Zimz, Cooking Baba. It's just a pain to come here to look for it every time. lol

It was slightly different drops each of the three times I did it. Once just slag and a cartridge, the second time was slag, like 20 steel, 2 cartridges, third time was just under 20 steel, slag and another cartridge. Either way, yeah I thought it was kinda weird so good to know you already know what thats about!

Like you said, it's not like it'd bad but definitely potential dupe.

@SuicideIsPainless Oops. That's debug behavior I forgot to remove; it's the only way I could get the arcade cartridge to spawn on deconstruct but the slag is unavoidable. I'll patch this back out since it's a potential dupe bug (you get 44 steel back + some slag iirc).
