I would really love to see MajorXAce take over or make a fork of this mod and make it Weaponcore compatible. I was a huge fan of this mod when it still worked, and I currently use the UNSC Weaponcore ship weapons.

@MajorXAce It says "I'm fine with tinkering, updating, & uploading your own version of this mod. In that case, credits & a link back to the original mod would be appreciated." so they're probably fine, if you just do it. I'd love to see this updated and maintained

I like your mod but when I aim with any of the weapons, (Excluding Rocket launcher and Spartan laser.) the aiming looks through the middle of the weapon and not the sights.

sadly its a crappy mod, you cant connect any of the turrets to your ship (i tried every connection type) so halo weapons that wont snap on to a ship...nothing works unless im missing something or the mod discretion is missing something

As a fellow Halo fan I would like to say I'm a big fan of your mod, its a shame you're not interested in maintaining it yourself anymore but thats understandable.

WeaponCore is adding Handheld weapon support very soon, and if you're interested I would be happy to take over your mod and convert it to use the framework. Alternatively I can offer assistance if you would like to do it yourself.

yeah the weapons could use a bit of TLC Especially the Animations as the gun has no fire from the hip one

so me and my friends have a server and are trying to use the spartan laser it makes the sound and has recoil,but there is no damage or laser, is there something that we have to do to fix that

Does this not work in survival? No matter what I try I cant find how to make the weapons. I can make the ammo but not the weapons?

for anyone like me coming here to find out why the weapons aren't craftable, it's a break on Keen's end apparently and it doesn't seem like it's going to get fixed

Weapons work fine for me other than the explosive weapons not working in multiplayer due to Keen. Some weapons aren't meant for zooming in too and also you need a basic assembler to make the weapons and this mod does break ladder animations.

So if Raz is interested he could do that and update this mod if he wants. I'm also unsure when he made his update about crafting not working in survival because I tested that and im able to craft the guns I picked out of the mod that I wanted for my custom mod.

Okay so I just checked my Animation Controller and it seems I pasted in some of the weapon codes in wrong so I fixed them. Loaded up my save and it's now working. Ladder Animations work, and so does the proper running animations for the guns. So it seems the fix was all you need to do is use the new Animation Controller default SE uses and just add in the gun codes for the mod.

I went into the Animation Controller for SE and took out all the ladder related code and put into the Animation Controller this mod uses, but the ladder animation was still bugged. So I went into the default SE Content>Models>Characters>Animations and took out the ladder animation and made a similar directory to this mode and it would crash the game. After that I thought maybe I should just use the default Animation Controller sbc files and see what happens. The ladder animation worked, however it was making the same weird running animation issue and first person gun models not showing like they should. I then thought okay, I'll use the default animation controllers as a base and just add in the Halo gun files in the appropriate areas like they are in the mod however doing that now crashes the game again lol. Im not a modder but i've edited mods and like you said I figured if I just added in the proper code it would work, but for whatever reason it's crashing the game.

Well what I think it could be it might be a new line of code they added to the SBC file somewhere. Like how they added wind on planet sbc files while removing uranium, I had to add that wind code to the ME mod I made. So hopefully the fix is as easy as writing in some code in the sbc.

I may have to try to do something like that. What i've been trying to do is take the guns I like from this mod, and the guns I like from the defensive kit and make it into one mod. I just noticed your ladder animation comment and this mod does indeed break the animation. Im not sure how I could go about trying to fix that. I sucks cause i really want to use this mod but I also dont want it to have bugs that break other animations. Especially since they just added ladders back in :(

What I think it might be is that the sbc file from both mods are clashing into each other along with any other weapon mod. I think you need one sbc file that contains all the weapons and supports them. I made a few mods and I noticed how wonky these things can be.

Yeah it's weird. I've been trying to get the Defensive Kit and this mod to work together but anytime I have them both on i get this https://gyazo.com/a4fb1f6357f8b3c82f6c406960f7a832 . If I have this mod loaded first, the animations work fine, and the defensive kit goes that weird running animation and in first person you can't see the gun model and vise versa if i have the defensive kit loaded first then load in this halo mod. Ultimately my goal was to take guns I like from this halo mod and the guns I like from the defensive kit but I cant seem to find the solution to what is causing that weird running animation

If you do that with any weapon mod. I think you can only have 1 handheld weapon mod. I tried to load a game with the M4 mod and AK mod and the results wasn't good. So this is the only handheld mod I use because its a giant weapon pack with weapons in various styles.

It seems if you use this mod with the engineer defense kit, that is when the animations get buggy.

Sadly this mod breaks ladder animations. I just loaded Earthlike with just this mod and the animation for the ladder isn't working.
