AND as soon as I comment, I find it! Literally how it goes most of the time.

I'm enjoying the mod, my only challenge is I can't find the zoning for blank books, until then they get piled around the writing table. I can stock pile written books, and piles of books, but not blank books.

@dracoix
Is there a versoin 1.0 Update then? :S

@soul.storm The problem with that is I still would like to have other colonists able to access the room to clean it. Dubs Bad Hygiene, for example, uses the bed-assignment system for toilets and bathtubs and the like and that seems to work fairly well. Anyway it was just a thought.

real life busy, if it doesn't work when forcing the mod in your modlist, then I'll do an emergency update.

Hi, Love your mod. Plans for 1.0?
CCC_Caesin 11. okt. 2018 kl. 6:21

My writer has written five books in a row about someone from the 21st century playing Rimworld, is this happening to anyone else?

@Omega13

There's a few lock mods that should do the job though.

So while I love these items (and am glad to see them split off from the arcades, which I never particularly enjoyed), there two things I've always wanted to see here that maybe you might be able to address now that you've taken over:

1) Bookcases are really not worth making unless you intend to use them. They entail a HUGE loss in value of the creation of the actual books, which makes no sense unless you intend to use the bookcase yourself.

2) It might be nice to be able to set a bookcase for a specific colonist the way you set a bed, that way you can put these items in colonist's rooms without worrying about weirdos wandering in to read because they're bored. Anyway, glad to see this mod is still alive!

Nice! Now I can build my colony's library
Kittamaru 11. sep. 2018 kl. 4:28
Huh, weird. I'm on 0.19.2009 64 bit

Probably a conflict with another mod - just odd that it didn't happen when I initially added it a few days ago. Weird.

I can't reproduce it via 0.18, current, or the 1.0 test branch, so something is forcing defaults thingClass to have something specified (which you technically don't need to as they are loaded anyway.)
dracoix 🐉  [ophavsmand] 10. sep. 2018 kl. 17:30
Are you running with 1.0 dev or 0.19.2009?
Kittamaru 10. sep. 2018 kl. 17:23
Not sure if it's a conflict or what, but I am getting this today:

Config error in LJO_Bookcase: has components but it's thingClass is not a ThingWithComps
Verse.Log:Error(String, Boolean)
Verse.DefDatabase`1:ErrorCheckAllDefs()
System.Reflection.MonoMethod:InternalInvoke(Object, Object[], Exception&)
System.Reflection.MonoMethod:Invoke(Object, BindingFlags, Binder, Object[], CultureInfo)
System.Reflection.MethodBase:Invoke(Object, Object[])
Verse.GenGeneric:InvokeStaticMethodOnGenericType(Type, Type, String)
Verse.PlayDataLoader:DoPlayLoad()
Verse.PlayDataLoader:LoadAllPlayData(Boolean)
Verse.Root:<Start>m__1()
Verse.LongEventHandler:RunEventFromAnotherThread(Action)
Verse.LongEventHandler:<UpdateCurrentAsynchronousEvent>m__1()

I like how you're doing this. Instead of smushing them all into one mod, you're giving us the option of what parts we want. Kudos.
