So how do you get the missiles to work? No documentation available.

I recently took a look at this ship and although the ship itself is very interesting, i was more interested in the small grid Decoy and Warhead setup with merge blocks. Its well thought out and i've blueprinted them for my own single player games. Both the ship and the ordinance it builds is clearly a fine example of "outside the box" thinking. Awesome job ! 😃

Thanks for answering, i also try to build PCU effective ships, the largest ship i have made is a Destroyer-Leader class with around 42k PCU, i wanted to know if you were going to make sucessors for your ships because i like the design style and i just love the effort put on them, not to mention having something to put alongside my ships for comparison..

@Schwarz: Glad you're enjoying them! I'm back from a really long Space Engineering hiatus, and currently playing on NA#2.

You can find some cruisers and carriers and a host of ships I'll probably never release in my screenshots. My focus is on building effective, pcu efficient, and useful ships for vanilla multiplayer. As much as I would like to build them, it's hard for me to make a practical case for anything much bigger than a destroyer. Even then, it was built around its guided missile launcher which isn't usable on servers which don't support scripts.

That said, I would love to release a cruiser or carrier, but only if they would actually be useful and effective. I don't want people to just paste these ships into creative and look at them. I want them to build and use them in survival and multiplayer.

I couldn't get the missiles to work. Decoys and mines work fine. Are the scripts still valid? Great job on the construction! This should be exceptionally resilient in combat.

All the ships in this collection are survival ready. Everything is controlled from the center flight seat. Just move through the menus with < >

This is a beautiful destroyer. Well-built with no noticeable weakpoints except the guns and thrusters. You did a great job on this.

I always test the workshop ships with the merciless drone waves mod to see how long they hold up in active combat devided by its pcu. your fighters had a really good score.

@Adyne: You know that you can change the colours in the "Paint Menu"

as you want? just play with the sliders and you get some pretty neat colours ^_~

@Gqmerdk19: I've just noticed I didn't upload the controls for this one. Combat controls are in the furthest right menu, 2 I believe. You'll be able to launch decoys, mines, and missiles from there.

I know, that they are for space, but i had less problems spawning multiple projectiles on planets than vice versa. maybe the Subgrid for the Projections are off set

I so love this ship, but it seems that here is a problem with the missile print part. as soon as is accelerate it starts to crank and move. seems Lord Clang is still in the game. Fun Fact: it worked on a planet, even though the missiles scratched all over the hull, but after going into orbit, the missiles worked better, but only one or two times.

Ah, that's an idea, export the desired cut of the ship as a model, import to blender for ortho view, screenshot that bish and presto :D at least for that part of the artwork. Very well done on the art, it must be a lot of work, I can see why you'd just do one for each item

@Mike Dude I'll check out the missiles again. Whiplash and I have tested them pretty intensely and didn't run into any issues. I'll see what I can do. Keen has changed some things with impact physics, so the mines are unfortunately more of an "extra" novelty feature these days. Without a power source and sensor, they're not very effective, but I kept them just in case.

I love the designs of your ships. Very well designed and I like how you hid the large thrusters well.

An issue I've noticed just from a few minutes of testing is that the missiles like to get stuck in the missile bays when firing them on the move. Are they only meant to fire when not moving?

I also can't figure out how to properly use the small mines. I fired them off and they kinda drift away but they don't really seem to do anything. I've even had them fire straight into an enemy ship and they just bumped off the side and kept drifting.
