Hey Thor's Mjolinir, the Bermuda Triangle isn't in South America. Its 3 points are Miami, San Juan, and Bermuda. Two of those three locations are United States lol.

So I played it last night and just did random leaders and ended up with Peter in Alaska. At first I was like, "wtf? there's no food at all." BUT THEN I realized you strategically placed active volcanoes all over the place. Like, I wasn't even playing apocalypse mode, and like 5 or 6 volcanoes were erupting every few turns. That was genius!! Plenty of food now!!

South american civs located near to jungle is unplayable with Apocalypse mod....
Forest fire will infinitlely spawn and eat the whole population up....

When playing without GS or RF the Bermuda Triangle is replaced by 3 land tiles, but still gives it's yeilds.

I played America today with the TSL on but spawned in South America near the Bermuda Triangle but it showed as Lake Maracaibo on the map. I'm not sure if it was map size or some other issue.

I noticed an errant / in the second Argentina line of the Map.xml file that's breaking the xml code. It's in the middle of the line instead of ending the line before the bracket.

I don't have a TSL position for that civ, but if the author has decided to add one themselves, then it should work. I'd recommend talking to the author of the Mexico mod

Oh... is that where Hunza is... as I don't own the dlc yet, I didn't know where it was... so when I googled "Hunza" I got a location in Kashmir. I will fix this later today. Thanks. Did everything else work btw?

Is the Hunza city-state included on this map? The Civilopedia entry states that it refers to modern-day Tunja, Colombia, back when it was ruled by the Muisca.

Updated the map for the new Civs. Palenque, now Mitla, has been moved, Caguana has been added, Maya and Gran Colombia, as well as the natural wonders of the Bermuda triangle and Paititi. If anyone of these don't show up, inform me about it here, as I don't own any of them yet!

Really looking forward to playing this map once Maya and Gran Colombia TSL starts are added (and hopefully the new natural wonders, city states, etc). I wish Firaxis had released a similar concept of a map when they released their Maya and GC expansion.

@Huan You need to pre-select what civs appear on the map in the custom game settings. So instead of random leaders its the ones you want to see.

Hi, I'm just getting into the YnAMP, and I seem to be setting something wrong. I have a bunch of American civs active from Gedemo, Sukritact, etc, and those seem to be fine, but non-American base-game civs are spawning in the game. Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks

Sorry for the very long delay in listing the civs, but I've now listed the ones I support. However, there are a ton of other civs that have support for this map, that are listed on their civ pages. I know that Gedemo for example has a ton of civs supporting many of my maps

Why would you put Britain in Nova Scotia? Their first Settlement was Jamestown, Virginia... Just curious... If you started them in Virginia, France could be moved properly to Quebec. Also, first permanent Spanish Settlement was on Hispaniola (Haiti/Dominican Republic), and then Puerto Rico... But, Cortes went from Cuba to Veracruz, established a settlement there, and then took out Teotihuacan and the Aztec's... Doing that would give the Aztec's time to get up and running... IJS.

For some reason when I download and open the Map.xml file I can't see what modded civs are supported - can you post the list? Also, will those modded civs have TSL as well?

Nicely oriented tilt of two big continents with a lot of variety in gameplay features.
All that's missing for me would be Sukricat's GrandCanyon & GreatBlueHole NW and everything would be'come almost perfect.

If i only had just one small critic.. the Volcanic spawning tricks are a bit too "harsh" for city planning reasons (specially in Western North-America) & verifying accurate locations for a few might help (Mt St-Helens, etc). Lonely "Palenque" is more funny random than silly bad-luck.. but i can understand how the pre-determined CS set (as declared by Defaults or YaMP) can block any other potential story twists.

Great concept and subtle design decisions, nonetheless.

(Now.. i'd really love to see your sharp take on some "Oceania + South-East Asia" magic!)

Hey man, map is great however, starting a game with Brazil, there are ZERO luxury resources in the whole of South America. Not sure about the rest of the map, since I haven't explored up there yet

Currently having issues with the map crashing after updating for GS. Will try to fix this and post an update in a few days

I will be coordinating with Gedemon, author of YnAMP, to make sure that our map are updated. For now, there are still some issues left that needs to be fixed, but as soon as he's worked his things out, and I've been able to work my things out with my YnABMC map tool, I'll update the maps for GS
