you should try make a mod that makes blocks turn into pixels when hit by something like the movie pixels

Just a note on the new update, the particle emitter doesn't work with the logic gates. I haven't tested anything else out yet, but I imagine there will be multiple parts from the logic section that don't work with the mod.

thank you very much, i know there i much more possible to realize with besiege with this special kind of designing machines without blocks, but i just don't get it jet :) maybe in the future, but your offers so much potential to do cool things for me with block looking machines :) i will defenitifly do more with it. If you don't mind I'll keep you upt to date :)

Console commands are obsolete, so if they don't work that is not a huge issue. The mod that does those same things better is called "object explorer" I think. You can do much more than my commands could, you just need to play with it a little. I need to check what's wrong with Strobe, keep in mind the level editor object called "spotlight" is not working (I can't make it work well, the game doesn't allow it). The spotlight block should work fine, I will see what I can do about strobe. Thanks for the notice!

Could you try and update so thsi thing works on macs? PLEASE! Its either invisable or just 2d half- transparent cubes. PLZ FIX.

hmmm, I know for most people (at least windows), it works without issues. Have you tried disabling all other mods? have you changed your game in some way?
You can try to "verify the game's integrity" through steam (make sure to backup your machines and levels in case they get deleted) and you can try to unsub/resub from the mod.
I doubt I can help you much since this may be out of my range....

Im on mac and these blocks are completely invisible, I can change the settings of the blocks, but they don't do anything.

Not for the time being, but I will look into it. I didn't exactly make the particle emitter with that in mind, but I might find a way to add it later. Thanks for the suggestion.

Added ParticleEmitter, SpotLight Entity (and a modded event that goes with it).
The entity is subject to changes, it doesn't work as well as I want it to.

It's using the Glass block. Add a lot of them in a line, and use 0-gravity. The colors are set to change using the pattern feature, which makes it quite cool to look at

Well they work somewhat, the console commands are stuff that I found in the game's code that could be tweaked, I just don't know what exactly it does. I left these options because maybe they are useful somewhere, for someone.

i've tried this mod, it was great. But when i tried the console commands, there only ambientlight and ambientsky works, equator and ground didn't work. what the problem is?

The 4th picture with the wall of ballasts has been made with "vertex" lighting.

Pixel is the "normal" mode. It will illuminate both blocks and the level. "Vertex" will only illuminate blocks, and it will do so by either illuminating the whole block, or not. "Auto" is a mix of both, but to me it looks just like pixel.
