no i dont mean no guards being there - as in disappearing
i meant no guards being there at all - as in being placed /spawned...whichever
(basically i mean the south gate is unprotected)
like for example -
you go to gate near the blacksmith - you see at least 1 DV and maybe 1 or 2 WG i think near it
the gate as if you was going to whiterun - you see one DV near the gate itself, and another DV roughly near the inn front gate,
as for the back gate - all you ever see close to that gate is the dog...stump or whatever its called but no guards of any type there
having using console commands to summon a bandit or two roundabout near the blacksmiths forge, i found that the WG and towns people attacked the bandits while the DV stayed in same spot, at first i thought it was AI (because of number of mods) stopping them moving so i attacked them and they attacked me back,
so then i console commanded one or two vampires that in turn got the WG, the DV and the towns people to attack said vampires

ok to make things easyer ill refer to the whiterun guards as WG, and the dawnguard volunters as DV

i downloaded the mod to see where the DV's was placed and how many,
which was close to where i was hoping they'd be (near the inn and near the blacksmith side main gate), altho i was wondering if its possible to add more (via you adding maybe 2 guards at each gate and maybe 1 more roughly near hods home / the back of the general store).

when i come out of hods home i noticed that no guards was near the back gate(south side/behide hods home),
inwhich i looked for and borrowed a save game that had the WG at riverwood, which is when i still found no guards WG or DV near the back gate, excluding the one WG that "patrols" the route from the front of the blacksmiths home to just outside the fence of hods.
just borrowed a save game who finished the main quest,
the south gate (behide gerdur and hods comes unguard),
and the dawnguard - guards tend to just stand there if its a normal bandit or what-not,
but if its a vampire they'll go all rightous might on there ass
is that a bug or just how ya've scripted them?
i just noticed that the....mmm south entrance of riverwoods unguarded (haven't got whiterun guards yet as i've been testing all mods i get one at a time, so i cant remember if there was any guards.. gonna try find a save game that as whiterun guards there and ill hit you up

finally i can get rid of the delay dawnguard start - because i dont have to worry about the damn dog in riverwood keep getting killed everytime i leave the inn,
or because i use skyTEST - no random boar coming and killing hod -.-
also, altho i might be a bit out of order asking this kille
but is they a way for me to add maybe one or 2 more guards in places ?
(maybe with the CK or something...<shugs sholdiers>.... actully nevermind im happy enough now that the towns have better protection <3
