@RepublicofInsanity That is actually a very interesting way to do that, thank you for the suggestion! Once I have everything I need for it (that'll be a journey on it's own) then I'll ask around the modding community to see if anyone knows how I could make that happen.

@IndifferentPancake I don't think there's a way you can add actual jamming since the game doesn't support custom scripts, but you could make a jamming animation, enable overheating in the weapon script and use the jamming anim you made as an overheating/cooling animation.

I am planning on remodeling the Nambu Type 14 in the future because I hate the way it looks currently, but I don't have the kind of experience I would want when modeling WW2 Firearms yet. It probably wouldn't be too difficult to make a version that has the safety switch to fire it. I don't know what I can do for the jamming properties, I'd have to look into that. Of course I will have a unrealistic fully functioning one for gameplay purposes.

Oh, FYI this gun , not only known as a main firearm in ww2 era Japan, but it is also known for one of the worst pistol of ALL time, I remember a firearm reviewing Youtube channel which reviewed it.
Results ? The gun looks like it is made by left over parts of weapon factory, it easily overheats without even giving the user heat protection, and the mechanics is so broken u can literally use the safety, yes, the SAFETY switch of the gun to fire it, with the risk of jamming as well, good times, good times

No offence intended, but this forum is not targeted at Asia and therefore few understand the offence caused by this. But do not forget the Swastikas in wolfenstein and other modern games. Also, you can ignore the picture if you really want.

Glorious Russia has made a good point. You see similar things to this in some of the older, less censcored (cough, cough - EA) WW2 games. It is relevant to the era and should not be taken as an offence in an open environment like this.

People will love you if you put stats and maybe history in the description. Damage, dmg fall-off, and any cool features you modeled in like +1 in chamber reloads and whatnot are GREAT attractions for people looking at the mod.

All countries have bad history, and some symbolism of it was used during that time. That doesn’t change the fact that the regime during that time used that symbol. Soviet-era Russia was horrible, but using he hammer and sickle to represent that time period is fine, because it’s a piece of history. Using it as a symbol to glorify it shouldn’t happen, but this man is not glorifying anything. It’s a single workshop item, with a Japanese flag that was, yes, used during the imperialistice regime.

Why is everyone so butthurt about the rising sun symbol? I get it, it's as bad as the nazi swastica. But this firearm is most known from that period. Do you expect an A6m zero to aslo go without those symbol on its wings because it "bothers" some special little snowflakes? In fact, I'd argue that you guys trying to supress that symbol is arguably worse than just leaving in on, because this way at least you acknowladge that it existed. If you supress then you act as though this warmongering nation didn't exist. Now try to go over to the families that lost loved ones under that disctatorship, and try telling them that it never existed. What do you think they'll say?

@kazuki490023026 I definetally agree, But I'm going to wait for the bolt action sniper rifles. My weapons are fairly bad as of current so I'm going to work on my weapons until they are in a more acceptable quality, then I'll be doing some of the more complicated weapons like the Mosin Nagant or Type 38 Arisaka.

@Bladiatim I will work on this, thank you for your feedback! I didn't know there were any problems with the sprite, I uploaded it without testing it much. I'll work on it, It'll probably be fixed by sometime tommorow, I'm not sure.

The UI image is quite broken. I also would recommend shaving off a few milli seconds of the reload to match the animation.
