it's not a monster that shows up anywhere naturally. there is a vanilla bug, though, that can make any random monster, vanilla or not, show up randomly in monster nests that they shouldn't appear in

hmm, unless I screwed something up (likely) you shouldn't be able to see that unless you have the vanilla bug that makes random monsters show up where they shouldn't

no, most mods just recycle and edited code from the base game, its fine to take pieces of code as long as you're not just stealing and re-uploading someone's mod whole

ammo's dr chromium is a very expansive mod, If you want to make your own similar style mod, I'd suggest downloading his and taking a look at the code it uses

so i am trying to make my own kind of bestiary.... but its my first time doing this modding stuff so its not really going according to plan. so i was wondering if you had the time to give advice and help when i need it? (and i just want to make more friends)

Andersbot: nope, but if you want you could just open up the mod files and type 'BASIC' in the catagory brackets to make the parts available

since the giant pillar (eventually) grows from it, the potato is made up of the top two modules from it (the windup key and the dome). although you cant obtain it normally, as it is a monster, you can grab it from the mod's 'monsters' folder and just dump it in your buildings folder to have accesa to build it
