Try viewing the page in an incognito tab? Maybe it looks different for the owner when logged in.
It looks like the new page has a different layout, the comments etc are now tabs across the top of the page, confusing I know, it's not intentional I assure you.
How are we supposed to give feedback?
Harmony may need to be required here.
But yeah i felt it got more unity tools.
but i dont know if that also supports the ssl version you mentioned too?
Whatever happens or doesn't, nothing will change that.
Thanks for bringing it to us.
I'm tired of having to reverse engineer their junk and hack around the awful unity code.
Plus the Unity version is so old it doesn't support SSL properly making it really unsecure.
Good luck in all that you do!
But i still think switching from straight C# to unity will still be a hassle. I mean a whole year or more, of radio silence. That will sound that the game is kinda dead. I mean yeah the new "Scenarios" post is actually good reaching out to some people to advertise their own way of telling a story but that's kinda it.
Also kinda cool that a modder' is going to more turf, it really shows that you are growing as a mod dev. (FYI, Software Inc looks like a p' solid Early Access game.)
Anyway, thank's for the years worth of fun. Now it's time to actually have saves that aren't dependent on GWP.
I have some ideas for adding networking capabilities there ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
And it's not that I don't want to make mods, it's that it is incredibly difficult to do so correctly and more importantly, securely.
At this point in time, what I want to do is actually, impossible, with the current version of Mono .NET embedded runtime and Unity libraries.
Do you know, that any mod that you install for RimWorld, that uses code ("DLLs"), gives them full control over your PC? I could run anything I want or take anything I want.
Plus on the other side of the coin, there is the cost. At $600 a year to run. it's not cheap for a hobby, especially when people whine and don't contribute to it's upkeep.
The next version, I'm planning will allow me to control costs more effectively and hopefully a cost a lot less.
Thank you for the encouragement and well wishes.
Then you check the comments and find it's actually.
END OF CHAPTER 1
But yeah, consider this the end because porting this from C++ to Proper Unity is basically making a Quantum Generator with a pile of socks. Yeah they will fix the memory leaks and game breakdowns later down the line, but 1.0 released is supposed to be the point they want the game to just flourish on it's own. This was a great experience but i'll take this message as, "raid you fat ass." But yeah mod dev kit's made like 2015 are bad but what are you gonna do? Stop modding? No you take your fat-ass up from the ground and keep making mods for them to enjoy. Take this comment as whatever you want. But understanding the flaws of the whole game in general is the first step to making your mods be the best. So go out and do your best; we are rooting for you.
im not sure which mod adds it, but i have these in my modlist which might contain it:
[1.0] Trading Economy Mod 3.1 | http://walkingproblem.com
Let's Trade! [1.0] |
The Rock Trade [1.0] |
i regret that i havent finished/released all the content for it and didnt get a chance to try live trading, but if youve been offering this for a couple of years, its commendable :)
RIP GWP.
TLDR: It's too expensive.
so you could see whats up. I previously thought this was because of the wall vents mod, but I've since removed that mod and started a new colony and the problem persists.

Because of that there is no medicine and no mortar shells on the market (beside other stuff like components).
GWP has some documentation but it for devs only, I am looking for other devs to help me maintain it. So if you know C# and you're good at networking, let me know.
(as far as i know, even if the usual 2 multiplayer mods cant support a particular mod in terms of functionality and dll files, without a lot of re-writing, i think this glitterworld prime mod, actually can in terms of items and using items) so fingers crossed we'll find out hopefully within a week :)
