I finished the game and the Merchant is on the Starting Island (I chose Unoiks 428c for the colony) and it doesn't give me the option to buy the blueprint, what is the problem?

farming bots can auto-collect stuff already, but this would be good because farmer bots are dumb and don't get to most pens if you have alot. plus this holds 3 animals.

Business connections were reestablished and Shady Merchant now stocks Robo Pen blueprints even after the bombardment.

problem after the shady merchant moves to the colony ships "hold" he doesn't sell the robo pen blueprint and i have yet to get one

A bit more feed back for ya, with the 24 pens I have the "Robopen has deposited (item) in to the store house" will cover my screen all the way from top to bottom. Thankfully there is already an in-game option to disable those. What I wanted to point out though, was that it was originally only happening on Sunset Haven where I have 24 pens and is the only island to have Robopens. but now, with out adding more pens or adding more critters to pens my screen can get covered on other islands like Sunrise and Eastern Isle 1. Especially if I use the "Wyrm Tunnels". Also a fun tidbit is that with a single Panther, I've been making the auto-collected shadow fur into shadow cloaks and reliably cleaning out the Sunset Haven merchants (of what I want to buy), I haven't even gotten to selling other items because my wallet is still stuffed with shadow cloak profits.. just thought you might get a chuckle that the economy was wrecked by 1 robopen and 1 panther.

Thanks for the kind words! The thing you don't see that influences production is speed - some mobs make more stuff but slower, so total production might differ (mechanical wyrms make uranium about five times longer then wyrms make dragonblood, baby dragons are 20% faster then wyrms etc.)

Great mod and fun stuff! I played Minecraft with Technic packs so AFK farms are common place for me. Planned to build 5 pens for each aminal on Sunset Haven, just under the Warehouse. But a Wyrm hole showed up and blocked a spot so I dropped it to 3 pens for Diode Wolves and Mecha Wyrms, and 2 pens of everything else. I have 24 pens now and I am not noticing any problems. I would like to point out an oddity in the numbers though, 6 Golems making 6 iron ore total is out producing 9 Diode Wolves making 9-27 Sulfur total. I currently have 9478 iron ore and 7782 sulfur. I did make a bunch of steel for crafting Mecha Wyrms but I don't remember crafting with sulfur.

Once I play the new content (tonight hopefully), I might be tempted to add it an underwater robo pen. The code is there, so it's just about the sprite. Stay tuned!

No problem, although this time it lagged without them. I'm starting to think that maybe having Portal 2 running is causing it.

How many pens did you build? I did not do any testing with a LARGE number of pens (max I had was twelve), so I might need to do that. I will look into possible optimizations to make it less laggy anyway...

Well, I didn't disable the mod itself, but I dismantled the pens I had on the Magic & Scinece island and it runs smoothly. Although knowing my luck, it could be a coincidence. But I have no way of knowing for sure.

Easy to figure out - try to disable the mod and play. If the lag persists, it was not the mod.

That being said, fearing lag I made it check only every 5 seconds, so there should be no or next to no lag.
Let me know if you find out it is lagging after all!

I'm not sure if this is causing lag, or if the lag is from something else. (Then again, it could just be that I'm using my older laptop while awaiting repairs).
