This is a nice addition, when you consider a lot of vanilla armor come in clashing colors. Thanks for putting this together!

Downloading "Sourcerous Sundries - Fixed" fixed the dyes not working for me.
Malhaloth 11 Sep, 2021 @ 10:48pm
For some reason this stopped working all of the sudden for vanilla ad the Npc armors. it was working fine the last two days yet after loading the game up today it is now saying invalid on anything I try to dye?
Meyphire 14 Jun, 2021 @ 6:31pm
i cant dye anything. i hit the combine button and it keeps saying invalid
isa0005 9 Jun, 2021 @ 10:12am
Wish the dyes worked with Crafting Overhaul's armors n stuff.

This mod is working well with the fix mentioned below, however I can't dye uniques at all. Is there any way to manage to do that?
NARALMA 5 Nov, 2020 @ 7:46am
@LandSharkPara - Wow thanks a lot. This fixed the issue for me.

Hi Lads and Lasses,
I recently fixed not being able to Dye armours after downloading the "Sourcerous Sundries - Fixed" mod here from the Steam workshop however it does require Norbytes script extender.

For the record we were half-way through Act2 and I did have the Sourcerous Sundries Gift bag enabled, so this 'workaround' might not be applicable to everyone's game...

not working
M0KII 17 Jun, 2020 @ 7:20pm
Hey so I commented here last December about the mod simply not working - it was working just fine for me, and then just stopped for some reason. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything from the mod author, or has any idea why the mod just shit the bed for apparently no reason.

I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I disabled my crafting overhaul mod (I don't like crafting anyways) and I was able to dye vanilla armors again. Comment if this helps you please because I want to know if this helps anyone else. I think those two mods conflict a lot.

To echo physics_nerd below, this mod is no longer functioning for me. Attempting to use dyes on anything other than armour spawned by the lamp results in an Invalid Combination. This is a shame, as all my gear is a horrible shade of brown.
Optimusa04 25 Apr, 2020 @ 12:16pm
MONIKA BEST WAIFU OR ANYONE ELSE WHO ACCIDENTALLY DISABLED SPAWN

I did the same thing, unclick the mod in your list then click CONTINUE its RISKY but if it works immediately SAVE TO OVERWRITE the save file then head back the main menu to re activate the mod. Thats the short way but again its RISKY because it could CRASH THE GAME.

The long way is to start a NEW GAME.

Now, I haven't tried this, but go back to a PREVIOUS SAVE before you disabled spawn, if the ARE YOU SURE THIS COULD CAUSE THE GAME TO CRASH message doesn't show up then you should be fine.:steamhappy:

I love being able to change colors!! If possible can more colors be added? Not 3 of the same color but more variations like Fane, Red Ore, and Pure Mythril. It would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I have tested a variety of armours with a variety of dyes and I was only able to change the colour of the unique epic level items that are spawned by the main mod. All other attempts resulted in 'invalid combination'm At present, the dye functionality does not appear to work for any vanilla armours or any armours where the appearance has been altered by the lamp. I have only these two mods installed and neither order makes any difference to the functionality.

Is any more work on this mod planned for the future, or is the current state the final version?

please update this aaaahhhhhhh
osman 14 Mar, 2020 @ 11:36am
can anyone dye armor with this mod ? if so can you write your mod load order pls
Sob 14 Mar, 2020 @ 6:57am
Doesn't work for me even with any of the suggested fixes by others in this thread.
BlueDragonKnight 22 Feb, 2020 @ 1:20pm
I really don't know how I got this working again last time, now nothing I try gets it to work... Guess I'll have to deactivate it for now if I don't want to run around all brown
Nineveh SWAT 31 Jan, 2020 @ 9:13am
I fucked up. How am I suppose to re-enable the spawning feature of the lamp?

This is so frustrating lol since the fucking vanilla dyes won't work!
𝕸𝖔𝖒𝖔~⛧ 1 Jan, 2020 @ 9:02am
My characters look like poop
BlueDragonKnight 20 Dec, 2019 @ 9:54pm
And now it works there too, without changing anything...weird, I just wish I knew why it didn't work
BlueDragonKnight 20 Dec, 2019 @ 9:48pm
I am just testing those Larian modifications since I thought the same, right now everything works just fine, even with them active. On the other safe, where I have the exact same mod setup, it does not work at all, so I am not quite sure why it doesn't work there
M0KII 20 Dec, 2019 @ 9:46pm
Hey I realized that this mod stopped working mid playthrough. It might be one of the new Larian gift basket modifications or something, but I'm not sure. I just wanted to let the author know that there's an issue, and ask if anyone may have found a fix or is having similar issues.
BlueDragonKnight 20 Dec, 2019 @ 9:23pm
I knew I had this working, but now I can't change the color of anything, its is still brown like its supposed to be but if I try to combine it with the dye it just says that its not possible to combine these
Alphonze 24 Oct, 2019 @ 6:54am
Crashes my game when enabled.
catsAndimprov 12 May, 2019 @ 8:48am
I have found that the dye doesn't work with Divine level armor that was spawned naturally. If I receive armor as loot from this mod, it dyes just fine, but if I try to dye "Divine" armor that I found or purchased, it crafts "Nothing!".
Skuldure 28 Feb, 2019 @ 6:39pm
Apparently works just fine for me. Just make sure to download the original Rendal's NPC armor and weapon mod too and make sure this mod is in a lower order then any other armor mod that you have.
amiachan 14 Feb, 2019 @ 7:04pm
@Dras'Vah'Monat I've found that as well. Even the most basic armours are refusing to combine with the dyes. :/
The Archivist 16 Dec, 2018 @ 4:47am
Unfortunately, most armors outright refuse to be colored. The only thing I can see that can be colored is Griff's Leather Shirt
EVILGRANDMASTER 27 Nov, 2018 @ 11:22pm
does no workf or unique's sadly. is there a work around? Its telling me it cannot combine,
Reverse Panda 30 Oct, 2018 @ 1:31pm
I can't get this mod to work, please help.
PWAbbott 20 Oct, 2018 @ 8:16am
Love the mod for armour but is there any word on how to fix the weapon colouring? Every weapon seems to have this super dark hue.
Airgetlám 9 Oct, 2018 @ 11:28am
Doesn't seem to work with the Braccus Rex set :/
NickSheperd 29 Sep, 2018 @ 3:57pm
Why does this mod murder the weapon color schemes as well? All the weapons I buy are an incredibly dark gross color. If we can't dye weapons, why does this affect them?
tmonahan23 25 Sep, 2018 @ 9:57am
Was wondering why the armor is brown while in the expanded crafting mod can have dyes and armor not starting brown?
Is there a way to determine the dye colors per armor category, like mail = color dye x and leather armor = dye Y by a script so all the vanilla are basically already dyed and your dyes are simply replacing them? Just so not everything is brown?
I dont know anything about modding for this game so.. i am asking a question where im ignorant on the mechanics and script. Love the mod 😄
Morzen 22 Sep, 2018 @ 10:17am
Yes! Now I can allways look however I want!
BOBOBDIBOBOB 20 Sep, 2018 @ 7:03am
sweet, sweet Dye system!
