I would love to continue making more World War 2 scenarios; the problem is, there are a minimal amount of Axis ships in the sim, and the devs don't really seem to want to expand on the World War timeperiod at the moment.

Would love to see a battle of Samar.

no, the developers of CMANO are the only ones who can make new database versions; and, even if i could, that would mean that everyone who wanted to play my mission(s) would have to also download that specific datatbase.

nothing older than the New Mexico is in the CMANO database at the moment

Oh, and in case you haven't been able to figure it out yet, I am a big supporter of "Big Gun" warships and naval gunfire support :)

How do y'all feel about me having the (unfortunately) fictional USS Montana (BB-67) as a stand-in for the USS Pennsylvania (BB-38) which is not in the CMANO Cold War database?

Should I keep it as-is, or should I change out the Montana for something more "realistic" like the New Mexico or the Tennessee?

The problem with making most WWII scenarios is that CMANO is missing a number of early WWII platforms, and the fact that CMANO doesn't model early era radio comms well. Also, CMANO doesn't really model WWII style dogfights in the air, mainly being set up for missile based A-A warfare.
