MudDigger: Showroom Model

Thank you so much for keeping both the Muddigger and Wingman mods updated, in spite of the ongoing updates that love to break them! <3

I still play this game at least a little bit every day, and still use the Showroom versions of both vehicles! (complete with your trick rollbars that allow Realistic mode to be the go-to setting for every race).

This mod has been updated to current standards. The car recieved a stronger engine and completely remade paintjobs. Models have been updated to work on longer ranges.

It is out on the workshop, and at the bottom of the collection.
Stephanie 7 May, 2020 @ 12:27am
You've already done the Wingman?? Where? I must have missed it somehow! ;D Or is it one you just finished recently and haven't added to the workshop yet??

I'm excited to see it! I love the look of the "Wingman" cars so much i often use a mod which allows me to select an entire AI team composed of nothing but Wingman cars! I select Team Race, grab my Blue Blazer (which looks like its old self again YAY!), and then select the Pocono oval or some other cool track and see if me and my team can be the only ones who ever make it across the finish line in one piece!

I will keep an eye out for your Wingman mod. And if you ever take it to the next level and do a "Tougher Titan" Wingman, I'd prolly scream loud enough to scare my neighbors!!

The Wingman is a metal torpedo. It sits so low and is so heavy it can punt cars aside like wheeled bowling pins! Sadly, it does then quickly become so deformed it ends up looking like a metal pretzel, but its got potential if you ever wanna Titan it!

Piss Cakehole  [author] 6 May, 2020 @ 11:35pm
That is rather convenient, as I've already done the Wingman.
Stephanie 6 May, 2020 @ 11:29pm
I just logged in and saw it! ;d The gorgeous metallic paint job and dent-free body is back! The "Blue Blazer" rides again! ;D

Thank you so much for fixing your mod (again). I'm getting disappointed in Bugbear for continually ruining everyone's mods! Basically most of the entire Wreckfest workshop is useless at this point. Almost all broken mods that will never work again. Why? Just so they could add "tournaments" that are won by cheaters who somehow hack their scores up to 9,999,999 or whatever? Sheesh.

And all your other showroom mods you put so much work into. :( Sorry you lost them. But I again thank you for fixing THIS one! =)

PS if you ever do a new showroom mod, consider doing the Wingman (DLC car). It's a 1960 Cadillac Sedan De Ville basically, and would be a stunningly beautiful car if jazzed up with working headlights and some chrome. It's a deadly low center of gravity rammer type, too!
Piss Cakehole  [author] 4 May, 2020 @ 12:08pm
That certainly took its time, but the update is done. I managed to salvage most features of the old version, though not everything. There are certain broken parts, such as the suspension and gearbox, but the paintjob has been updated to match the new coloring. I have also added some missing parts and other removables have been adjusted. Consider giving the new one a try and see how that works out.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 1 May, 2020 @ 12:05pm
While it may have been a temporary setback, I have managed to acquire the previous version. We'll see where it goes from here.
Stephanie 1 May, 2020 @ 11:32am
Wow! Thank you for trying, if nothing else! ;D

I have no idea how you ever made any of the vehicles dent-free and new looking to begin with. Every vehicle in the game has a battered, ugly look by default. Your mods, which somehow make them look literally showroom new--just like the names say--have always been a marvel to me.

Why the makers of Wreckfest have never understood that some people would PREFER to drive, and race against, cool-looking vehicles rather than a bunch of junkyard refugees is beyond me.

If the files exist to allow all the vehicles to look normal instead of dented-up and battered, why not allow game players to select those versions, instead of keeping them so hidden that only one person--you--has ever went to the trouble of offering such versions of these vehicles?

Anyway, thanks again and in advance if you can restore the Muddigger to its old self! (the tougher titan mod still works atm, preserving it from becoming worse looking than it starts off).
Piss Cakehole  [author] 1 May, 2020 @ 1:27am
However as stated this process will take some time, as I will have to recover files from older version. Will be coming with updates soon.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 1 May, 2020 @ 12:18am
I'm not retiring as of yet, though I have been taking a break from the game. The reason was that as the updates rolled out I had to keep fixing the mods and it was just too much time as a single person. The recent update broke effectively everything I knew and I'm still testing the game for how much we can mod it. Many of the old files are no longer and that makes it way more challenging to deal with it.

As for the mod itself, there is a chance that some upgrades will cease to exist, considering that there are problems with the new body meta, one that I have no idea of what it contains. For your sake, I will attempt to repair it hastily, but it likely won't be as good as it was before.
Stephanie 1 May, 2020 @ 12:13am
'm worried you're retired which is depressing. A recent update broke your "showroom" version of the Muddigger. None of the custom paint jobs are available any more, and numerous dents etc in the Muddigger's body make it look like a battered, crappy old wreck.

I had grown so used to my gorgeous, dent-free "Blue Blazer" that it became my Wreckfest identity. I was the "Blue Blazer." To have my Blue Blazer suddenly stripped away from me, replaced by some battered, sun-faded beater with spray painted lettering and ugly decals has ruined the game for me.I used to play Wreckfest every day. Now I can barely stand to even look at it. It's just another ugly old wreck, looking like its just waiting for a tow truck to hook up to it and haul it off to the junkyard. :/

Any chance you could come out of retirement long enough to restore the beauty of your work one more time?Your mod made Wreckfest a great game for me, and losing it has been painful. Wish they'd quit breaking your mod...

I will put it back soon.
Matt VEAGEE [FR] 28 Aug, 2019 @ 5:08pm
they removed the original front grill and headlights ! D:
Matt VEAGEE [FR] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 12:18pm
ouch, at least thanks
Piss Cakehole  [author] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 10:00am
I have tried my best, and this is the result. As you may notice, the chassis, roof and other parts are broken, since the rear fenders were not meant to be removed.

Unfortunately, there is a good chance that it's not possible. The rear fenders, along with the tailgate are in the actual body of the car (not a detachable panel).
Matt VEAGEE [FR] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 8:49am
can you add the possibility of removing the bed (rear left and right fenders plus tailgate) ? I would like to make a replica of this: https://www.instagram.com/p/B01dE_YAr_g/
Piss Cakehole  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 1:02pm
It's an upgrade. I think you can find it in the rear spoiler category.
Not Kyle 1 Feb, 2019 @ 12:55pm
i like it but how do i take the back camper shell off of the digger?
Piss Cakehole  [author] 31 Dec, 2018 @ 8:25pm
No, since the pickup conversion is a part of the car.
Mercurial_Oz 31 Dec, 2018 @ 8:16pm
Would it be at all possible to get a standalone mod that just adds the pickup conversion?
ND-Ground 16 Oct, 2018 @ 9:43pm
Thank you its perfect!
Piss Cakehole  [author] 16 Oct, 2018 @ 10:38am
I hope you are satisfied.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 16 Oct, 2018 @ 10:31am
However, you were right in that the wheel was smaller. I found the larger version, so i'll update this soon.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 16 Oct, 2018 @ 10:23am
Actually, never mind that last statement of mine. Both monster wheels are present in the car (one is by default, the other is added with the mod). I don't exactly understand what type of wheel you are looking for (cause the wider "fat" tires are the one that my mod adds)
Piss Cakehole  [author] 16 Oct, 2018 @ 12:25am
Those are the monster wheels (type 2). I can lease them from the hotshot, though only after im done with the Boomer.
ND-Ground 15 Oct, 2018 @ 6:41pm
I mean fat tires like bandit ones

LivingWithGames 24 Sep, 2018 @ 3:32pm
Alright, hope it works.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 3:12pm
Yeah well, let me do that part and we'll see how it works.
LivingWithGames 24 Sep, 2018 @ 2:45pm
I mean, f you look on the normal dominator, you can see the front you can equip the less cut bumpers. Plan is, you can use the more complete bumper as default and use the 'default' look on the normal dominator as a part, the cut front/front fender that is.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 1:46pm
Dominator huh? Looks strange so far.
LivingWithGames 24 Sep, 2018 @ 1:33pm
And seeing when I bought in the vanilla game as the car has it's front bumper parts, well, you're doing God's work here. Next up to suggest - Dominator.
Piss Cakehole  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 11:58am
There is still a lot more to go. 8 cars are done of about 20, so you may decide which one comes next.
LivingWithGames 23 Sep, 2018 @ 9:09pm
YOU MADE THE PICKUP CONVERSION! Heck yeah boi!

You're doing God's work here, son! The best car modder here thus far!
Piss Cakehole  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 6:29pm
Those tires are as big as on the picture. The only difference in height you see is the suspension's visual height and not the actual one.
ND-Ground 23 Sep, 2018 @ 6:11pm
Piss Cakehole  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 1:57pm
Well, i did.
ND-Ground 23 Sep, 2018 @ 12:46pm
Please add big tires [IMG] http://i63.tinypic.com/2lxiiw2.jpg [/img]
Piss Cakehole  [author] 21 Sep, 2018 @ 6:34pm
I certainly like the muddigger because of the fact that it's a pickup. The most unfortunate thing is that the cabin is not actually separated from the camper roof, so it's kinda open at the back.
Crash 20 Sep, 2018 @ 6:37pm
Yes! The pickup conversion! Heh, always wanted to do it but never took the time. Nice!
