basilisk, no because music can be a buff
John Doom  [author] 23 Oct, 2022 @ 9:59pm
@The Basilisk the idea was that speechcraft could be used as an artistic skill and bards' songs help strenghten your morale/stamina xd

"-cooking advances your speechcraft skill;
-listening to a bard fortifies your stamina;"

Excuse me what?
Shouldn't cooking advance your alchemy skill?
Shouldn't walking around advance your stamina?
Teriyaki 6 Sep, 2019 @ 11:04pm
Nice mod but unfortunately the "Two-Handed Level Up" Bug defeats the whole purpose of a True RPG, guess I just have to wait for eternity and hope you decide to continue modding :(
PotatoSlayer94 26 Oct, 2017 @ 9:12pm
Mining seems to trigger my problem.
PotatoSlayer94 24 Oct, 2017 @ 11:21am
I'm still experiencing a leveling up bug when I'm doing something that isn't mining or chopping wood, but my Two-Handed skill goes up regardless.
A Bloody Spy! 3 Aug, 2017 @ 11:59am
@ Dr.Kaiser there is already a mod the the lusty argonian maid book
Popo Bigles 19 Jul, 2017 @ 8:23am
(lute)

Aw... Well atleast i can play other things.
John Doom  [author] 19 Jul, 2017 @ 7:53am
@Dr. Kaiser
xD It was so long ago that I can't tell if you can use that item anymore. I don't think so, though: I remember you couldonly play the flute, the drums and that thing that looks like a guitar.
Popo Bigles 19 Jul, 2017 @ 7:19am
how do i play my instrument via Imperial Warhorn?
Popo Bigles 17 Jul, 2017 @ 6:04pm
Will reading "The Lusty Argonian Maid" increase my 'one handed' skill *wink*
ʙᴇᴘɪꜱ 28 Feb, 2017 @ 5:28pm
@John Doom
That's fine. I think I'll just make an edit to it myself at some point. Otherwise I really like the mod, conceptually. Hope the game goes well!
John Doom  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 10:21am
@The Hokey Pokey
:( Unfortunately I can't work on my mods anymore, since I'm now working on my own videogame.
ʙᴇᴘɪꜱ 28 Feb, 2017 @ 5:20am
This mod is fun but my Two Handed skill levels up during every activity, sometimes even when I'm just walking. This has made everything overleveled now. Is that gonna be fixed at some point?
Redeemer 13 Jun, 2016 @ 6:56am
Yea any time I tough a crafting table of any kind my Two Handed skill sky rockets. I also agree that the cooking and listenint to a bard benefits should be swapped.

But it is a great mod. Just wich my Character didnt level super duper fast.
Pokemon_Kid 28 May, 2016 @ 6:11am
there isa mod that makes mineing and smelting lv up your 1 & 2 handed and smithing
Pokemon_Kid 28 May, 2016 @ 6:09am
cooking advances your speechcraft skill;
-listening to a bard fortifies your stamina;

the cooking should fortifie your stamina
and listening to a bard your speechcraft skill;
John Doom  [author] 22 May, 2016 @ 3:21pm
@The Sultan It's safe to say it isn't this mod (if anything, I heard it makes you level up certain skills faster :D ).
If installed, "True RPG Classes" is my only mod that prevents you from levelling up a skill when it's not a major one (it's intended).
OzzyMoses 22 May, 2016 @ 12:51pm
I'm not sure if it is this mod, or another i have installed, but smithing doesn't level up when it says it should.
Pokemon_Kid 29 Mar, 2016 @ 3:54pm
cooking advances your speechcraft skill;
-listening to a bard fortifies your stamina;

Michael P01 28 Dec, 2015 @ 1:07pm

Wolven 19 Jul, 2015 @ 3:56pm
Great mod, thanks - I had fun with it in Whiterun - I used Work as Blacksmith mod, Realistic needs and diseases, Professions mod and all combined together with this one - well I could say I really spent one week in Whiterun trying to learn to be a Weaponsmith. I got hungry/thirsty every morning/noon/evening, I had to go sleep every night, because I was tired and I worked hard for an orcish blacksmith who was giving me tasks from morning to evening and then he went to a pub. So I had also time every evening to go to a pub and drink with buddies around before I had to go sleep again because I was tired. I recommend that to everyone who wants to RP :)
Doctor Disco 30 May, 2015 @ 8:33am
this mod is awesome and yes I also agree cooking should increase the alchemy skill
BearMan 21 May, 2015 @ 1:42pm
it always bothered me that chopping wood and mining didn't help with any skills thankyou
Memerino 29 Nov, 2014 @ 10:01am
awsome
< blank > 11 Oct, 2014 @ 10:56am
Muito bom, realmente funciona.
Thriiller 6 Oct, 2014 @ 11:33am
Loved this mod, but serious bug that caused me to uninstall it was that - like HS_MathsTeacher said - every crafting activity is causing my two-handed skill to go up just by waiting in the crafting screen.
ZayZayEM 20 Sep, 2014 @ 4:08am
Like these ideas
Pretty sure it's this mod --- every crafting activity is advancing two-handed weapons, just waiting at an enchanting table is maxing it and levelling me occassionally.
justlovemonsters 4 Sep, 2014 @ 9:08am
I agree with Nunu. Cooking should increase alchemy.
Griff 6 Aug, 2014 @ 2:11pm
I think alchemy should be increased by cooking.
Xexcel 4 Aug, 2014 @ 12:29am
oh okay then im all for skill boost and others buffs ;3
John Doom  [author] 4 Aug, 2014 @ 12:22am
@Space Engineer Xexce
Not money, I meant temporary skill boosts (ofc money would be awkard! xd)
Xexcel 3 Aug, 2014 @ 10:23am
@thebigboss94ita-i think money as reward for eating would be even worst than no reward at all casue its stupid (in my opinion) to get money for eating but i like the idea of effect from eating food. may make me eat those stolen sweet rolls i get while leveling my pickpoket skill instead of give them back on the pockets of the guy xD mod look nice may try it +1 ;3
John Doom  [author] 16 Jul, 2014 @ 1:47pm
@Foolrule The idea is to give the player some reason to eat (as it is completely useless in vanilla skyrim).
BasyStazy 15 Jul, 2014 @ 4:24pm
Please don't use any reward system at all, it's a bit weird that you get rewarded for making yourself something to eat.
John Doom  [author] 15 Jul, 2014 @ 10:52am
guys I'm so depressed about this mod... Do you think I should just put away the levelling thing (which is bugged) and instead use only money and effects as a reward?
BasyStazy 25 Jun, 2014 @ 9:56am
Bugs alot. Adds levels of Two-Handed whenever you gather ore/lumber and adds speechcraft-thingy whenever you cook something, actually not, rather keeps leveling these while you just use the objects! Also happens on an alchemy table and an arcane enchanting table
Infin 24 Jun, 2014 @ 5:33pm
broke level advancing. continly levels up skill when ever i do one of new xp granting actions
Tuetonic Terror 8 May, 2014 @ 7:24pm
I just did the same thing as Kelleno but ill try it out it seems cool if any problems show up ill let you know.
Artaeus Emrys 7 Apr, 2014 @ 7:13am
played those two games before they ended. some of the best games i ever played. R.I.P. Ultima Online and StarWars Galaxies. btw good mod here.
Draugvir 15 Mar, 2014 @ 3:19am
Not sure if this mod is responsible but it seems to level my 2h skill forever in warewolf form..?
DarkFoxZQ-T 14 Mar, 2014 @ 7:13am
ok i was looking for star wars and got this but thanks ill try this
Xemanis 24 Feb, 2014 @ 9:57am
Alright.
John Doom  [author] 24 Feb, 2014 @ 2:37am
@Ragin' Fluttershy @Spartagoose @Outcast
In fact, twhanded shouldn't level up that quickly. The fact is that it works fine to me and I still haven't figured it out where the bug is.
About alchemy/speechcraft it's a long story: I wanted to use alchemy too, but then i thought "Is the player making a poisoned cake or something?", and so I decided to use speechcraft. I see a lot of people is complaining aboutthis, so I'll change it back to alchemy as soon as possible.
I really wish I could do more, but I'm pretty busy these days. I hope you'll understand.
PapaDerp 18 Feb, 2014 @ 11:15am
Also... You're two handed skill should increase by 1 every 20 chopped wood pieces you get. To me that seems balanced. I also don't believe that mining should increase your two-handed skill. If you equip the pickaxe as a weapon it will be one handed and not two; althought the same thing goes for the wood axe.
