Pushed out an update to the weapon today. It's now using the WotC PBR shader, and vanilla stats for range and construction fees

It's a shame that this pistol only fires a single shot per attack unlike some other custom sidearms. I always had an impression that Predator is relatively light in terms of damage and fast in terms of fire rate. The gunshot sound isn't nearly as satisfying when only fired once. Still, the model is pretty sweet!

@Lord_Poncho57 Yes :) Most Mass Effect weapons have blue projectile effects, when they fire basic ammunition.

But you did a good job never the less. It is a picky complaint. It is not really too serious.

@luisrlimon Hmm, I've heard of that issue in the past. I know the Republic era weapon mod had similar issues for some people. I never had that issue though, I had a fresh install of XCom 2 when I downloaded the Republic weapons mod.

@Vortex ♀ Pixalation Neat idea, though I'm not fully sure as to how that'd work. I'm a pretty mediocre animator to be honest.

@Neinbreaker Are they blue? It's been awhile since I've played, so I'd imagine they're off.

Plus one is indeed a percent chance to add a damage point, btw have you conisdered using the "Onequip" animations to make the piston unfold/fold up when used, could actually integrate it into the fire animation

I just upgraded to mag weapons and it showed up in Engineering. Weird, but at least it is there. Your mods are pretty awesome, by the way.

I have a similar problem as GreatOldOne - It doesn't show up in my current campaign. I have a test-bed saved game that I use to check mods before I re-open my current campaign and the Predator is present in that game. I imagine there is a conflict somewhere. But where...

If you make a mod that makes a tier replacer for T1 weapons with these ME weapons, I could die a happy man. T1 = ME weapons, T2 = LW2 Lasers, T3 = Coil Guns, sweet molasses YES

@GreatOldOne Might be something on your end. 737 people are subscribed, and you're the only one with the issue.

I might have set up the loader incorrectly however. Is this a fresh campaign by chance?

The gun does not appear as a loadout option or even in the engineering list. It's like it doesn't exist. I run about a bazillion mods, but so it's either a conflict or a direct bug.

About the Plus One, I'm thinking you're right about it being a % to add 1 damage. Makes sense with all the other vanilla pistol stats.

@Professor Spank It Weapons are easy enough to rig once you know what your doing, though they're a little more code intensive. Armor is the opposite though, they're hard to rig easy to code.

@AzureTerra The Typhoon will come in the N7 weapon pack.

@Rhalius Probably will port the Cyclone as the cannon. I'll probably attempt to port a drone, and maybe the Asari sword if I ever do an Asari pack.

@AleKrios Hmm, odd. The gun showed in my loadout menu, though I didn't check engineering. Odd though, variables should be correct.

@joker Particle rifle might be a bit tricky to work with, beam particle would be a good starting base though.

Nice! Personally I'm just looking to get one set of mass effect weapons and it seems you have all the guns covered now save for the heavy gun.

Do you have plans to add one from Mass Effect and maybe a drone, grenade launcer and sword too?

Nice. Predator pistol is definitely my favorite looking one in the ME universe.

Are the ME:A weapons easy to port over? I see mods for the armor but nothing for the weapons from that game.

On the topic of cannons, I remember I was thinking of porting the Cyclone from Andromeda as a cannon. Quite like the large drum, gives of a Z-6 vibe to me.

Thanks, though I'd give most of the credit to Bioware. I just hurt my head over why the archetypes won't load half the time. Anyways, I can add the attachment sockets later. I remember I removed them thinking they'd cause issues with the models, and then kind of forgot about that when I did the Katana.

Thanks, I'd to learn about ways to improve them.

@Arkangel Andromeda has some attachments that'd work. How they work though, it another story for another time.

As for the grenade launcher, I can take a stab at it, but the animations would be incredibly funky.

I'd count Revenant as an LMG or SAW.

Loving your mods, by the way, but your Avenger and Mattock ports are missing attachment sockets. Would you care to add them? I'm willing to help if you don't know how. Also there are other ways of improving your mods. Send me a friend request if you'd like to converse about that in private.
