No worries! I appreciate that you even took the time to make a vid for me and for others that could use the help too!! You're a great help, thanks again!

Started making you a vid, but got side tracked by someone who said I'd help them and ended up redoing a model. Yah, Scaling is pretty simple if you follow my instruction in the description or posted below.

nevermind, i'm a bit dumb hahaha. i managed to figure it out
Tuna lover 28 Jul, 2021 @ 11:54am
uhhh, sorry to bother once again, but i still can't manage to make it bigger. I'm doing just what you told me!
Tuna lover 28 Jul, 2021 @ 11:40am
thank you so much!! i was legit just about to ask how to do that lol
Pte Jack  [author] 28 Jul, 2021 @ 10:33am
Great, glad it helped. If you have to add a scale control to make it bigger or smaller, add it to the static prop bone, not the root transform. To change color use an override materials and send it to the element viewer, use the color swatch to change the color.

thank you! it worked :) you're a real live saver

The model only has one material and it is paintable done the same way as any other paintable model. Override materials, send the model to the element viewer, expand the materials and change the $colortint_base colour.
DJ KäH™ 23 Jul, 2020 @ 11:30am
How do you recolor it?
FreeMau 6 Jul, 2020 @ 1:49pm

Pte Jack  [author] 2 Nov, 2019 @ 1:57pm
Scale the main bone, not the root transform.
Dookster 2 Nov, 2019 @ 11:58am
any way i can make it bigger?
Pte Jack  [author] 21 Sep, 2019 @ 12:49pm
Subscribe, launch SFM, allow the download, launch the model you want to lock it to, launch this model, lock it up and use it.
jackman12359 21 Sep, 2019 @ 12:47pm
it is just like an ordinary model
Dr Stinkle 9 Sep, 2019 @ 2:54pm

I used an empty and locked the camera to that, then spun the empty
Grambee 27 Sep, 2018 @ 1:53pm
ay pte, how'd you get the camera to circle the bubble so perfectly in that gif?
jolly ol' chap 27 Sep, 2018 @ 6:20am
Neat.
Siluva 27 Sep, 2018 @ 2:45am
Perfect !
E3kHatena 26 Sep, 2018 @ 5:44pm
I need one of these for real life, just an opaque green void I can sit in and nobody else is allowed in.
Jsnake13 26 Sep, 2018 @ 12:53pm
Seems really useful, not sure if I'll ever use it for any posters io animations, but the concept is neat!
Pte Jack  [author] 25 Sep, 2018 @ 7:19am
The secret to effective green screening is to find a colour that isn't anywhere on a model ad use that for the bubble. Which why I made it paintable. It makes the cut out process easier.
flimsy filmz 24 Sep, 2018 @ 10:53pm
Ah, I see. Thank you very much for clarifying it, for me.
Pte Jack  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 10:38pm
Green Screening makes it easier to break a model model out of a picture and apply an alpha layer to it so it can be transposed on to another image or background. It's like what they do in the big action and scifi movies when a person is hanging 35,000 feet over an out crop of a ridge looking down or like Luke and Vader in the battle where he looses his hand and falls into the abyss of the station. They film the actors in a green screen environment then chop them out of the footage and throw them into the station background.
Pte Jack  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 10:38pm
When we want to green screen, we usually have to throw green or blue panels behind and underneath a model but if we want to get a different angle we have to move the screening around and it can really disrupt the workflow.. With this model, we can animate it in the environment that we're make a clip in, if we find something we want to greenscreen, we can encase the model in the bubble and it doesn't matter what angle we want a shot of, the background will always be green without having to bring in extra panels and interupting our animation process. Most video editing software today allows the use of greenscreening, so we could shoot an entire clip in say a map like badlands with the models encased, then through greenscreen magic, have them actually running around the real streets of Tokyo...
flimsy filmz 24 Sep, 2018 @ 9:18pm
What's the point of this? Can you please explain me for what this does.
Pte Jack  [author] 24 Sep, 2018 @ 7:16am
Not just a heavy, but any character or prop you want to cut out of a scene and add a different background to in an image or video that uses Chroma Key technology.
Kizuato Nobunaga 24 Sep, 2018 @ 12:54am
That can be definitly Useful, Like A Heavy running but except the map or background changes every single second.
EmperorFaiz.wav 23 Sep, 2018 @ 9:32pm
Awesome!
Pte Jack  [author] 23 Sep, 2018 @ 5:22pm
now paintable to any colour you want to use there Fuzzy
Capt Fuzzy 23 Sep, 2018 @ 3:27pm
I like this, the only thing that might make it just a tad better would be for it to have a blue screen skin as well...
