Hopefully they'll keep the modding community in mind with their next project, now that they have the freedom of modern engines to select from to use as a base this time around. :)
Has the dev ever stated why he made the game so modding-resistant? Kenshi is honestly a prime candidate for extensive modding: a game with a very solid foundation, but with a lack of content and depth.

It's a great mod, just the text blankets the actual map, and you can't see enemy camps that pop up randomly sometimes. If the text was in ghostly white color, this wouldn't be an issue.
