Can't get this to work on my dedicated server, any advice?

-Subscribed, copied mod over from my singleplayer into my servers content/mods folder.
-Added to my server startup bat: ?GameModIDs=1521488411
-Added to my GameUserSettings under [ServerSettings]: ActiveMods=1521488411
-Reset server, destroyed all wild dinos.
-Gave myself 100 narcotics
-Bird stole and ate all 100 in one swoop.

I feel like I'm missing some important step...

It especially sucks when I'm carrying things to tame and get targeted. Guess all 30 of my kibble are eaten now. And the 200 narcotic too cause they don't relent.

So for example, your mod id is at the end of that list. There was no call for Wraith to act like such a jerk because he can't be bothered to look himself.

I'm not exactly what you would call well-versed in ark modding, so I was completely unaware that mods had numeric ids. --Or that it was common practice to list those ids. I am a veteran programmer, though, and know just enough of just about every mainstream programming language and development environment to get me in trouble though. Hence the confusion.

Unfortunately, this modification cannot be acheived with a buff of any sort. The seagulls' attack is hard-coded to take a whole stack of items from the player and does not use any blueprint messaging or event graph calls when this happens.

Any mod that overrides the ichthyornis from the base class like mine does will most likely wind up not being compatible with this mod.

What I actually had to do to get this working was create a new child class of the default icthy and then override the methods related to stealing items from the player and sort of restructure how the item theft and consumption works a fair bit.

The default way the ichthy stole things in the first place was incredibly inefficient and poorly scripted to the point where I would have preferred to have rewritten the whole thing anyway.

I like the weight limitation idea. Very logical. I've never looked at the Icthyornis.. if this effect achievable via a buff? or is it some sort of scripting that causes it to take a stack? Just a thought for compatibility's sake.

This mod actually is harder than vanilla settings, as gulls can eat 10 prime meat instead of just one.

--If you haven't played on vanilla settings, I can fully understand why you would think that gulls were designed to act this way. They were never designed with stacking mods in mind. Hell, looking at some code that's in the birds that has been essentially dummied out (made inactive/commented out), it looks like they intended to set a cap on the number of items that could be stolen in the first place, but decided that it would be simpler to take a whole stack instead thanks to the way the code is structured for modding.

I actually don't. I can look into that a little deeper. I am planning on a small feature update at some point that should make this more configurable so that users can decide what they think is fair.

When these flying rats were introduced they have taken everything from food/kibble, water jar and narcotics to stacks of element, arrows, weapons and armor. I have only ever gottem them to spit out one thing.... a measly stack of bolas. This mod isnt just a blessing its a requirement.
