@zobztler Hello fellow swede! i wonder which of the modded sweden's are compatible with this map. i know your mod is compatible, but which is the other one?

You just need to edit the Map.xml file and add copy one of the existing lines under StartPosition and change the civilization name and location to the one you want. You can go into the worldbuilder to find the coordinates you are looking for. You can also ask the authors of the mod to include support for my map :)

I have only the base game, but I'm thinking about playing a campaign as Sweden. Preffarably, I would love for a map centered around Scandinavia with a lot of russia, germany, britain in the game as opponents. Is it possible to have modded civilizations and place them down on the map where I want and then hit play with it all working?

I can't make the city state Tórshavn show up when I manually select city states in YNAMP. Anything I can do to fix that? The leader still works just fine.

You forgot one of Sweden's biggest lakes "Mälaren" which the capital is situated next to.

I've noticed that this map alters every civilization name to the name of the capital (there is no French Empire, each city is just referred to as belonging to "Paris").

See the "description" section of YnAMP, more specifically the part about having only one version installed, seems you've got an old version manually installed that prevent the updated steam version to be shown on your mods screen

The map does not work for me? I shows up, but when I select it, I get the 'Mod error thing'. I have no other mods activated other than 'yet (not) another map pack' which the game does say is not compettible.

Currently having issues with the map crashing after updating for GS. Will try to fix this and post an update in a few days

@Yensil the newest version (the one that I'm currently working on updating) will have 4 continents. "Mainland Europe" as Europe, "Scandinavia and Finland" as Balitca, Northern Scandinavia and Iceland as "Arctica", and the British Isles as "Atlantica"

how many "continents" does it have?
I ask because I'm looking for a Europe map to play Victoria on and I don't want her leader ability to be useless.

I'm aware, I'm currently updating my own map making tool that I used to create my maps to be able to update it properly. There are new features to add to all maps (volcanoes not so much on this map though, but floodplains and other stuff). And then I have some other things going on around me that I'm dealing with, but I'm aiming for an update by next week. Sorry for the delay

It looks like YnAMP is updated, it says that GS features are working 'on all maps'. I assume that include this one, only want to clarify since you haven't said so on this page. thanks

I will update for GS when YnAMP is working correctly (as there seems to be some minor tweaks needed still) but it won't take long :)

@KFblade I went through the TSL file in the mod and Yerevan doesn't have a TSL on this map, and it sounds like you've used the wrong settings. on TSL enforecement, it doesn't matter what you choose, it's another setting that is important here. There's a setting a further down that is checked by default that says something along the lines of "allow civs without TSL to spawn randomly" or something. That one should be disabled

I just tried it out, and I also got Yerevan in England, about where Manchester is modern day. I had the city state TSL option checked.

@TheSlavicHunter45 Yerevan doesn't have a TSL, meaning that they will spawn at a random spot. You can disable all civs withough TSL to not be allowed to spawn in the menu, and increase the number of city-states to the max value, that way all supported city-states will spawn, and the others will not

The mod supports 2 different modded Sweden civs -- one of them is my own :) -- but none is included in this mod, it's a sepparate download

The only Roman lands here were northern France and southern Britain, hardly representative of the Roman Empire by itself. Furthermore, Rome would take up space for France and England respectively. Rome does not thematically fit with this map.

Why not have Rome's capital be one of the regions it held on the map?
