If you're referring to the mod itself, you have to do some wonky searching in the steam folder. There might be a guide on how to do that somewhere.
-Thank you !
If your people are strong enough go into the ashlands and hunt the big monsters that roam around. They have both CPU core and AI core along with some other materials.
They are not meant to be an easy thing to construct, either. If I had them easy to make, it would indeed be a super cheat. They are pretty much a cheat I make you work for, as with all my mods, I tested and played them with other mods and without other mods.
If you really want to make them for free, feel free to search for the mod in your steam folder and load the mod into the FCS (modding tool) and take out the materials cost.
turrets for their has always something missing. This time today i saved up all these old CPU cores i got from the droids that wear human skin...thought this was the day NOPE. FORGETABOUT IT! its unrealistic unless you cheat.
Actually I'm looking to reduce the range a little, since while it's fun sniping hungry bandit with the turret from my wall of death, I would appreciate it more if my gunner spend less time shooting at the hill trying to get to the enemy behind it
Anyway thanks again for this awesome mod dude, you rocks!
On a side note the turrets didn't really have the best LOS functionality back in the day. Not sure if they updated it, but with too much range they just tried to shoot at stuff too far for the projectile to even hit. The range is already pretty ridiculous on them already if you have a tower or a high wall.
First thing first I need to thank you for making this mod, you have no idea how it makes defending that kenshi's glitchy gate so much easier now
On to my question, is it possible to edit the range of the turret? I tried looking it in the FCS but can't find the relevant value :(
