@Geneticus So me and my friend are running into an Issue with gathering Titanium, is Titanite not the correct refine-able for that? We installed this mod for the Rotary Airlocks mod but we are now needing Titanium and cant get the refinery to refine titanite.

Engineers, have you done the test for a long time? do mods work after the update? it gives me errors and does not contact the launch vehicles. Sorry, very sorry. The best mods!

Enjoying this mod. I love the thought and effort behind these mods, and the realism going into the requirements of parts/modules. Just sad that there's no updates lately, and am struggling to find some of the resources (like Carbon - needed in most things, CANNOT seem to find on planet).

Would love to see an update and tweaks, plus list of compounds (I've found Limenite, quartz) and what they would contain.

@DukesHound I have several and none of them match what is currently published....
Iron is Magnetite and Ileminite primarily, there are also trace amounts in all kinds of stuff.

@Zalizzar I'm not surprised. The last time I was motivated to update this mod was 2 years ago, partly because game patches were breaking things faster than I could fix them, partly because each thing added to the mod set made it exponentially more complicated. I fixed that issue and Tier 5 yields, but I had to actually write a program to get that far. By then, life got in the way and here it has sat.

@Commando_Kain What are you on about? Under US Law. The owner of original work is automatically entitled to the exclusive right to publish, copy, or transfer those rights in part or whole. Configuration files are based on prior work and are generally not covered, however images, textures, music, and other works of artistic expression are and are not considered public domain regardless of filing status. If I see someone has infringed on those rights without consent, I will initiate a take down on that basis.

@Geneticus I have CMM - Community Materials Mod (WIP), CCM - Community Components Mod (WIP), and Gen's Blocks V2 - (WIP) - Survival Major installed on my DS. So far I am having an issue with not being able to refine Tungsten Ore, Mercury Ore, Carbon Ore, and Neodymium Ore. No matter the refinery I choose, these Ore can't be automatically or manually placed into it. Is this a bug or is it on the WIP todo list?

The core problem is that the output of a basic refinery is much higher than of an elite refinery which seems irrational and should imho be fixed. And you're right: All materials get a massive overproducion with a basic refinery - except iron. On the other hand, iron output of an elite induction furnace is that low that constructing another elite refinery without iron output of a basic would be nearly impossible. Output of all other materials seems ok though.

Another thought: Lots of rare materials are only obtainable with elite refineries. How could they be used, once your components and blocks mods are updated? What could be built that needs those rare materials you only get with high end refineries? Wouldn't it be better for gameplay that all refineries give all materials but only slower and less output? And maybe its better not to have a basic refinery accepting everything.

One thing to know here is that these mods were started about two years ago. I sat on them for a year and a half because they were supposed to go up with the Survival Update. It got delayed for a long time and when It was finally back in the pipeline, It changed the math on the backend and completely broke the mod. In order to get it ready for the Public release of Survival, I kludged fixes in. That's why its got so many issues now.

In order:
1. Sort of. Those two main Iron recipes had accidentally been using the formula that Regular Iron had when I made the list. (Bad CopyPasta). I fixed them because Hematite was supposed to be more Iron rich than the other Ores containing Iron. What was not intended was that I wrote all of it before they removed "Core Materials" from Asteroids, There used to be a Huge Iron Center in every Asteroid. I might just up the efficency of all of the refineries, but there are probably some materials that would get massively over produced. Unless someone wants to help with info gathering and testing that has more time than me, fixes will be random. I might have some time this weekend but no guarantees.
2. Yes.
3. I have no Idea. Bugs, Documentation, then new development.
Modeling and texturing takes a long time and I thought I was close to having bugs squished with this update and the Progression Addon for Blocks.

first of all thanxx for the rework, looks really promising

Some questions: I noticed that the amount of ingots received has been dramatically reduced since the last update (e.g. refining 250k hematite with an elite refinery gets me around 1,7 k iron). Is that intended?

Will your other mods (components and blocks) be updated so that we can use all the 68 elements? If so, can you please give an approx. timeframe?

Loving the new mods and all the new materials Geneticus, very well done. One thing I've noted tho is with the two gravel sifter mods. They produce trace amounts of the five vanilla ores, and all but iron are accepted by the CCM refineries. For some reason, the sifter shows vanilla iron ore, and if you try to transfer from the sifter>own inventory>refinery, the refinery doesn't black out like it normally does but it won't accept the ore. Not a huge deal as I have it mainly to get rid of gravel, not get iron, but thought I'd mention it. Thanks again.

It's On my //TODO List, but I've been working on getting Progression to work properly in my Blocks mod. As far as what yields what Ingots, that depends on a lot of factors. The first is if It is loaded by my mods, someone else's mod, or by itself. It's modular and can vary greatly depending...

Missing Tungsten from Fluorapatite Ore in the T5 refinery. It's presents on the lower tiered refineries however.
