However it doesn't use the typical soldier skill system, instead using proving ground upgrades and engineered stuff. Probably a better approach for a mechanical unit I guess.

what does the buildable unit mod more except add the templates to the repairfacility mod too?

no i dont use it, i tried it out month ago, but found out i never use it, cause the units are too weak to waste the time needed for other stuff in the proving ground
They can be added into the repair bay if you use the Buildable units mod which I'm guessing your not using?
if not can you make one?
