You know it's interesting. You posted on the discord channel and the complained without waiting for a response.

You seem to have read 'something' of the chat history but you failed to read enough since the answer to you question was there.

But as to weather you would have gotten support or how good that support would have been you have no idea since you marched right off in a huff.

A pretty bad mod with some bad responses with different answers each time.

1. Coordinates to locations on each map that are unreachable
2. No update, love, care at all for over 5 years
3. A discord server that is borderline dead with a mod author that seems to not care about his mod

I would not install this mod as you will not get help from anyone about it. If you do you get tossed around in circles or borderline ignored.

Just play the steampunk QL mod or wait for a better mod to launch.

Did you do a wild dino wipe? That will break the mod. Stop your server, and delete the save file for this mod in the gamesaves folder.

First off thank you for making ark great again with something to do other than punch trees and tame Dino’s lol.

I went to the coords for the island map for the quest giver but no one was there.
Then I did gfi for the quest becon and I place the quest giver.
The menu worked fine and everything looked awesome but I went to two locations she gave me and saw nothing there.

Here’s my possible problem:
I’m on singleplayer
I have multiple mods
- Ark Eternal
- Primal Fear
- Ark Omega
Being the biggest mods.

The quests do not take into consideration the players level. There can be some randomness to the rewards, but not always.

It sounds like you came across one of the rare quests with specialized rewards.

Is the rewards balanced with the level of the person who turned in the quest? I think this mod is very interresting and tested it on a level 150 survivor. I had to bring 25 fertilized eggs some even giga eggs and my rewards was 3 healing potions. Is it supposed to be like that? Or did I do something wrong

you can use it with any map. You have to use the ini settings to set the position of the questmaster.

Is it compatible with Lost Island and Fjordur? It didn't say at the top and I just want to be safe before doing something that messes up the game

there is an admin device that can be used to do that. But once the quest is complete they will despawn.

For custom maps, can quest givers be placed using something like simple spawner?

It will when you setup proper coords. Once you have make sure you delete the questlines.sav file to reset the mod.

I tried several coordinates in genesis 2 and somehow they didn't work, you could create a default coordinate and add it in the next update or write a coordinate that works in the mod description above

It does, but you will have to set the location for the questmaster using ini settings. Just go to where you want it and record the coordinates.

you will need to configure the location of the quest master in your .ini file. The instructions are in the Description.

@snowkeu there shouldn't be anything at the coords. They are 'near'. it does use the word aprox. You just have to keep looking. It's all part of the 'quest'.

I love ECO's mods a lot. The best in fact. I wish you guys modders had thicker skin. These idiots that try to make your life harder don't deserve even a minute that you spend building your mods. So just ignore them, guys. Know that there is a community of grateful gamers that actually appreciate what you do. Keep up the good work, and screw them toxers. They are miserable people that need pity because in the end they'll die alone.

You can only move the quest master. The quest npc's move after the quest is completed.

how do we move the npc? i was testing it out and its in an area i dont want it

It does. you will have to configure the quest master's location via the ini file.

Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

I just wanted to say that me, my brother and nephew love and appreciate ALL the work you do for the modding community for Ark. I wish more people would tell all of you modders that what you are doing is great! And not complain and bitch about things you get for free.

If you are using a native supported map the description includes the coords of the quest master. If you are using a map that we have not built in a location you have to set this yourself in the ini files.

You can use the admin becon to locate quest givers and the quest master if you need to validate things are working as intended.

If you have done a wild dino wipe you will also need to delete the save file for this mod in order to restart it.

Quets repeat conditionally. 0 does not allow you to place them. You can place the with the becon but they will despawn once the quest is complete.

Manalo, is this still being actively updated? Because "• Admin interface to alter/add quests." would be really useful for those of us who run roleplay servers!

If you use the becon to teleport to a quest giver and they are not there then you should shutdown your server, delete the saved/savegame/questlines.sav file and then restart your server.

If your are saying you simply haven't found the quest givers that the quest master is telling you about then perhaps you just haven't looked hard enough.

Use the admin becon to validate everything is working as intended.

I have a problem where I cannot find any of the questmasters/questgivers and the ones I spawned in just tell me the locations of others that I have to spawn in

Hmmmm that's not what it said. It said her industrial grinder was broken and needed gears. I don't see anywhere in the quest where it says she needs something to be killed. If you're going to be rude I will uninstall, and urge others to do the same. You don't even know what you've written down, do you? No where in the whole paragraph does it say to kill anything. And it's not even updated. Be rude to me again over some damn questions because you can't write well and explain things well.

Had you read the quest a bit more closely, I'm fairly sure it's a kill quest.

Hi, I got that to work now, but I have another question. There's a quest that the person wants bronze gears. I don't have the steampunk thing on here and nor do I want it, since it would clash with what I'm doing. How do I get these bronze gears??? Like 15 of them randomly shown up in my inventory when I was just looking around the swamp, is it possible that they are just laying around? And if they are laying around, can you make them more visable because I had no idea what I was doing when they appeared, I was just walking around, and it only gave me 15 instead of 20 like I needed for the quest. How do I get these bronze gears?

@Dragonmagus13 no they are not attacked. The beacon is an item you get to your inventory and then use to place like any other placable item.

If that doesn't work try re-installing the mod.

Also this blueprint doesn't work for me to spawn in the becon. I've tried it other ways, like in the normal blueprint type ways, and nothing happens.
