Still, probs gonna get a mod to give hive soldiers some headgear.
@MiMiX: Deadhivers are a seperate species, so you would have to change their stats seperately
@ Revok Farthis: I don't know if Hives Expanded changes the stats of the race itself. I guess you could try to load my mod after HE and see if the HP of the changes.

Cause I made a huge hiver army and then realized it would be a bad Idea to attack the ashlands due to the gas.
I am using a mod that lets me recruit them when they are in prison, aka the recruit prisoners mod, and they have a few extra bonuses but the stats are far inferior to living hivers, which you could argue that it makes sense since they are technically dead, but I still think Fog Heavies severely lack in power compared to the common fogman or even the prince. I even tested this myself and in nearly every test the fog heavies were the first to fall. Thank you for reading this if indeed you have.
Good point but I see the hivers more as a dodgy race than hulks with high toughness. Then again the developers added a 1,2 rate of toughness gain as a temporal fix to make hivers more viable. I aimed to make the soldiers to survive better and still be prone to loosing limbs due to the missing chest armour. That fits their visual design and the hivers specialization in limb production. A higher toughness would slow or prevent limb loss. A modified soldier with masterwork robotic limbs is a beast and on par with Shek and Skeletons.
I find princes as snipers nice due to their higher persception gain and workers as base stafft for farms, mines and turrets. Beeb is just hilarious so I use him as sniper as well.
It also makes them a bit more unique since other hive already have a bonus to dexterity
