NOTE:

This mod is INCOMPATIBLE with the latest game release from Paradox.


An updated version of this mod is available here:

It contains the new menu icons for PA clink_1.0 steam.

This version of the mod will stay online for those who are still playing with PA Update 17.
DO NOT enable both mods at the same time, they are incompatible.

Mod update:
- added room icons for the Servers and More mod.

You will need to restart the game after applying the update.

That's only partially true. The meaning of the colour coding has vanished while the game was growing and it is outdated. Chris mentioned this in their video when the mobile version came out. He'd love to give it an overhaul as well, same for the prison grading screen which also sux.

I've been playing a lot with the 'default' icons and a lot with the '3d' icons by now and personally I think the colour codings were very distracting, I never found my way in the rooms menu. This new look got rid of that colour distraction factor (which never made sense to me).

Awful. There's a reason the rooms are highlighted in Red, Yellow, and Green. It narrows down the categoreys at a glance.

Sad how we have to use a mod that's a direct port/copy of a MOBILE version of the game to get a decent in-game interface going...

As long as you put it on top of that mod to override the room icons which it alters as well.

This mod only holds the room definitions (internal variables) and no language file.
Every name of a room is defined in the mods listed above.

Requests for additional room icons are welcome, in case you made a mod with a custom room and want a nice icon to go with it.

The order of the room icons depends on the order in your mods list as stated above.

The ui.png holds more icons than currently enabled in this mod: there are planning tools and menu separators as well (as you can see from the last screenshot). Those are only enabled in my CombiPack mod, since only that mod has the extra definitions and rooms for those icons. You do not need this mod if you are using the CombiPack, since this mod is just a stand alone version of what's inside there.

As you will notice, the Limo garage quickbuild rooms don't show the icon you might expect. This is because that mod is using a default Deliveries icon. Same with the basketball quickbuilds, which have a Yard icon defined instead of a custom icon. I could update those mods, but that would require to alter the interface.spritebank as well, which I won't do in order to keep compatiblity with older releases of the game.
