promisses to be amazing, cuz i burn fkin out when im shooting right in front of moving enemy and arrow flies behind him. i thought its 3rd person aiming issues actually, didnt know there is auto aim option omg...

Ok, I just found out there is auto aiming in Skyrim. XD But only pussies use it.. real archers turn off the crosshairs and shoot to dead center using anything they can (size of the arrowhead, distance, gravity, a 'sense' for the center of the screen, etc). (And yes, I'm into archery in real life as well so I find auto aiming a disgusting thing. :P

I don't have Skyrim installed, but I sincerely doubt they changed anything that would affect this mod, since literally all it does is change a couple variables.. They stopped making major changes to the game years ago.

This no longer works. Tested with multiple bows, and arrows. Please fix?
Lou the Lou 1 Feb, 2017 @ 11:32pm
Don't see why it wouldn't.
viggo- 1 Feb, 2017 @ 9:30pm
this still work?
Teddy Roosevelt's Left Nut 11 Nov, 2016 @ 4:00pm
Very useful for long-range hunting
Well done, friend!

Thank you, sir. :)

@Lou the Lou: Before your post I didn't even realize the Special Edition with modding support for XBox / PS4 existed. (neat)

I saw your post on the Bethsoft forums, and unfortunately it indeed looks like the Special Edition CK isn't available to the public yet. However, feel free to redistribute / modify this however you'd like, with or without credit. It's just a simple esp plugin that modifies a few global variables, so I imagine it will be compatible with the Special Edition as-is - if not, porting it over should be very easy.

If you load up the current CK and inspect the plugin (right-click > details on the "load plugin" screen, iirc), you should see the variables you need to modify - these will be under something like "Gameplay > Global Variables" in the top menu (again, if I recall correctly - it's been a few years!)
Lou the Lou 28 Oct, 2016 @ 1:15pm
Hey there. Could I trouble you to port this over to Xbox? Or can I have your permission to (figure out how to) do so?

Failing that, I'll simply make my own with yours as reference, but I get the feeling it would be much simpler/faster if you simply ported yours, as I have done zero Skyrim modding.
Pakachu 11 Jun, 2016 @ 7:34pm
Thanks man. I was trying to get rid of the damn thing.
Chocolate Whipped Cream Cake 29 Nov, 2015 @ 12:05pm
i fell like an aimboter
Reborn 15 Aug, 2015 @ 8:01pm
anything for spells?
Deftinwolf 9 Aug, 2015 @ 7:50am
@Spades Disregard him, he's a moron. It's definitely not an option without the use of a mod.
Ace 21 Jul, 2015 @ 7:51am
@CobaltAegis: Can you? That wasn't always an option.
OverLordTen0 12 Jun, 2015 @ 1:37pm
I can't stand playing without this mod thanks for the mod
The_johan 7 May, 2015 @ 2:42am
nice mod keep it up
CobaltAegis 2 Nov, 2014 @ 8:33am
You know you can always turn auto-aim off in the menu without having to mod the game? I always keep auto-aim off anyways.
Ningauble 22 Aug, 2014 @ 1:10am
Does this still launch above the cursor?

I was wondering how tricky it'd be to change that cursor. Maybe a... V centered a littler higher than the current cursor or perhaps two dots one for base melee and another for the raised projectiles (spells/arrows).
Vlammenzee 7 Aug, 2014 @ 2:50am
great mod, combined with faster arrows (75%) and the ini tweaks for crosshair correction, archery is spot on! it always annoyed me when you shoot like a bear/elk from long distance, headshots would always go anywhere on the body lol.
Wojtha 6 Aug, 2014 @ 4:37am
Auto-aim sucks! You can't hit any moving target! This mod is amazing.
1MU5TGL1D3 23 Jul, 2014 @ 11:28pm
I didn't know there was an auto aim. Now I feel like crap because of how bad I shoot arrows.
Carlos Spicy Weiner 15 May, 2014 @ 10:20pm
Made a huge difference, auto aim actually made me a worse shot lol. Thanks thumbs up!
TexMex Cowboy 26 Apr, 2014 @ 10:09pm
i agree with wubonater. my arrows now go bottom left and its annoying
Wubonater 17 Mar, 2014 @ 10:34pm
Wait, The arrow slantin to the top left is normal, it happened when I shot at the center of a bulls eye in a training hall.
Radio Frog 9 Mar, 2014 @ 7:19pm
FUCK I thought I was just a good shot
fox  [author] 11 Feb, 2014 @ 7:32pm
@RedGeneral: I'm not certain, as I do not own any of the Skyrim expansions. However, I believe it should, as the plugin simply sets the global auto-aiming values to zero.
RedGeneral 11 Feb, 2014 @ 2:45am
does this work with crossbows?
Neopolitan 29 Jan, 2014 @ 10:02am
and i still miss.........
Precurse 8 Jan, 2014 @ 5:57pm
wtf? there auto aim in skyrim?
$6 SRIMP SPECIAL 19 Dec, 2013 @ 9:49am
But it messes up the mounted aim. :(
Firebeard 14 Dec, 2013 @ 7:11pm
I THOUGHT I WAS A GOOD ARCHER DAMNET
Cat 21 Nov, 2013 @ 4:04pm
Thank you! I have no idea why Skyrim has autoaim but it just messes up situations where I actually took the effort of taking my time and calculating, but the dumb thing shoots it wrong regardless. This should fix it.
zaltene 8 Nov, 2013 @ 10:07pm
Never noticed auto aim in mt 700+ hours(just recently hit the mark!) of playtime, my ego is now bruised.
fox  [author] 13 Oct, 2013 @ 11:17am
@Calendyn: Glad you like it!
Calendyn 11 Oct, 2013 @ 4:11pm
@fox
You're my hero for making this. I've been messing with the .ini all day trying to resolve the auto aim, and voila, you've already sorted it. Makes actually getting better at bows possible!
Coysonn 29 Aug, 2013 @ 7:58am
the auto-aim was intentional. i just created a new character and used the bow on the bear in helgen keep, missed him twice until hadvar and i got two arrows on the bear. do not get this mod. auto-aim was intentional
Redbeak 25 Jul, 2013 @ 2:17am
There is a very simple problem with this mod. good intentions, bad results, not the mod itself but in combination with Bethesdas hitbox...just let me say that when an enemy is down on his knees the hitbox becomes VERY difficult to find. i saw at least 5 of my arrows fly straight through the enemy without results TT-TT
Starship Fupas 23 Jul, 2013 @ 9:03am
Wow, i thought arrows going in a weird angle was just quality Bethesda coding, but i had no idea the game had auto-aiming.
Gutshot 18 Jul, 2013 @ 6:50pm
auto sometimes makes me miss for some reason...
Redbeak 14 Jul, 2013 @ 2:27am
Best tags ever on a mod.
Thargs 7 Jul, 2013 @ 12:09pm
but I might know why, since I never stand still while shooting, auto-aiming is made to correct the arrow path in THAT situation, so with auto-aim off, arrow wont ever hit something
Thargs 7 Jul, 2013 @ 12:05pm
same as NastyNoob, have to shoot while aiming left/right
Gemini 8 Jun, 2013 @ 2:42am
this mod was just what i needed
ChookShagger 29 May, 2013 @ 7:43am
hmm doesnt seem to work, arrows still move to the left or right
Mystic God Creation 23 May, 2013 @ 5:10am
hey bro, question here. is it posible to make an mod which alters the cros hair with some range indicators? you know, some small stripes below it for the extreme long range shots
Walter T. 5 May, 2013 @ 2:02pm
Great mod, thanks :D Kill cam issues aren't really a problem for me as I get them fairly regularly in vanilla and I think they're pretty cool :)
Injushe 10 Apr, 2013 @ 6:33am
heh, I like the killcam misses, adds a bit of drama. :)
monastor 18 Mar, 2013 @ 2:29am
Yeah, kill-cam misses do happen in Vanilla. What I hate the most is that the bullseye perk tends to paralyze targets before they're actually reached by my arrows. They just go stiff and fall to the ground, effectively dodging the shot.
Infermium 28 Feb, 2013 @ 11:37pm
@Genebris Auto aim is built in, you can edit it in the skyrim .ini file. Or use this mod.
