One of my favorite mods as well, ever since i had it, i used it as the only lightsources everyhere in the base... hehe

Hope you will get around to update the one file that causes the load errors. As it should just be the about.xml one?

This mod works with 1.1 its just a few load errors and thats it.

Since all this mod does is add data (the recipe, and the building), there's nothing to conflict between the 1.1 and 1.0 editions. So yes, the 1.0 version of this mod should (and in my experience, has) run totally fine, without even throwing XML errors.

FYI, even though the version is tagged as 1.0, I've been able to use them just fine in 1.1 without problems.

Hey I was wondering if you could add a slider or value in the mod options to adjust the brightness. I use Gloomy's lamps to give my colony that "torchy" light feel and its off putting to see a massive beacon of light in the middle of my colony. Even with vanilla lights. Sorry bout bein nit picky, I just really don't like how damn bright my green houses can be with just two lights.

@Fixx101 Hi! I’m sorry, but changing that kind of thing is beyond my programming skills. I agree with you it’d be nice if the light were placed on the tile you expected it to be in/on, but I don’t know how to do that. Sorry. Wall Light is awesome...the mod maker Murmur really knows how to make awesome mods!

Kind of a minor thing, but any way to make the light at the opposite end of the tile so that they are at the 'back' of the placed tile? (sorry if that doesn't make sense..) Like the Wall Light mod placement is different to this mod, and i use both, i guess it just bugs me as this mod has a strange placement issue it seems.. Like somehow you have to place the light in a tile that it's not actually for, for it to line up with a wall.

That's sweet , these are the single best light in the game .I'm building a huge elven Ice Inn on top of an ice planet and these things are ... well they're sliced bread my friend , great job.

How about "zone" around the light to show the range the light will reach ? Do they project light forward or do the project at 360 degrees ?

Love this mod!

Any chance to add a mod option to vary the power usage of the light? 10w feels a little low for me, so a simple slider to adjust for personal taste I would think would could be an option.

Also maybe an option to make the lights a researchable tech, requiring fabrication be known first? (please place on own tab).

For the op part, i increased the power req in the files. A suggestion then could be a option in the menu to change that, like Murmur's wall light does

This is overpowered, but that's absolutely fine, it's optional and not everyone wants to struggle with power issues when building underground bases.:steamhappy::steamhappy:
