then its interacting with another mod.
I haven't had to update this mod since 2021. its stable.
Melfior 21 Aug, 2024 @ 7:37am
Removing this mod fixes crash, so i quite positive. Distant town generation is off.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 21 Aug, 2024 @ 3:44am
my mod wouldn't cause crashes.
try looking for one that makes more drastic changes or disable distant town generation.
Melfior 21 Aug, 2024 @ 1:12am
The mod is crashing the game when you approach settlement in Borderlands

none that i know of

Is there a patch for "no cut efficiency"?
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 1 Feb, 2023 @ 7:51pm
that was kind of what i was going for.
sicne most people just wear clothing.
in this harsh environment, clothes would have evolved to do more then just keep one from being nakied, but to protect themselves in the wastelands of Kenshi
Limdood 1 Feb, 2023 @ 7:27pm
I love the bonuses. It makes me want to use clothing either as a high risk, high reward item, or to offset some of the penalties of the heaviest armors.

One awkward side effect is that it makes clothing objectively and MASSIVELY better than light or medium armor up to and including even standard grade. Standard drifters pants have nothing on monk/ninja/gi pants. A standard, or perhaps even high quality leather tank top gives a small armor bonus...or I could have huge stat bonuses from a prototype cloth shirt...Even merc leather armor pales in comparison to some of the bonuses on items like the gi armor.

So basically, this mod encourages an absolute all or nothing gear style....you either go the best, heaviest armor, or you go with clothing, because the lesser protections offered by lighter armors just don't stack up to the gear stat bonuses.

Update 14
Changed many clothes to have better protection against the elements.
As Kenshi is more desert, most clothes now have dust storm protection to some degree.
SupremeQuesoDesuPizza 25 Dec, 2019 @ 9:41pm
It really is balanced by the lack of armor, though. You take a lot of damage with no armor. You'll still chop people like Gordon Ramsey chops carrots if you have a swordsmith, but they're going to be on the ground before long if they get mobbed.
Kawaii Butterfly 11 Dec, 2019 @ 2:02pm
Yeah, i see the point, but 68% bonus? And 22% Combat speed? Nothing can give you a bonuses like this, even assassins rags with dex prosthetics.
And assassin's rag barely give you any defense too.
Anyway, it's your vision, and i really glad that you made this, thank you!
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 11 Dec, 2019 @ 1:39pm
The bonuses are there to counter the loss of armour while wearing just clothes. plus the Gi Set is setup to work best with each other, giving you a extra bonus if you wear both parts.
Kawaii Butterfly 11 Dec, 2019 @ 1:28pm
Thanks a lot, i always wondered why there are no buffs on clothes in vanilla, since wearing them is really risky.
I have a small doubt though - Gi set gives you 68% (!!!!) increase in Dexterity. Isn't it a bit to much? Especially considering nerf of assassin's rag from 1.3 to 1.2 dex. What do you think?
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 22 Sep, 2019 @ 2:11pm
there is also grades of clothing, so can get/loot/buy or craft better stats.

this was all done so that people who dont want to wear cumbersome Armour, have a secondary choice. Armour is not the only thing you can wear now that will protect you.
fl9d 22 Sep, 2019 @ 12:19pm
cool, thx for the answer. since it is the more recently created of the two, it figures.

Thx
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 21 Sep, 2019 @ 7:27pm
mine, as i made mine to have more uses then cloth rag stats.
some are made to pump your MA skills. others give resistances to weather.
fl9d 21 Sep, 2019 @ 5:24pm
compared to "all clothes get stats" https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1099917406 from Baby Shark, which one would you pick?
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 24 Apr, 2019 @ 2:28pm
i do not
RedBaronFlyer 24 Apr, 2019 @ 12:06pm
Do you have a spreadsheet (or just text I guess) that shows the stats for different qualities of the Gi in your mod?
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 5 Feb, 2019 @ 6:18pm
i have not touched that
in mine they are white.
Raistlindantilus 5 Feb, 2019 @ 6:05pm
Any chance this mod turned the martial arts wrappings to black? At one time they were but it appears I messed up the load order and now they are white. Having a hard time determining which mod I need to reorder to get them black again.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 24 Dec, 2018 @ 10:58am
i updated the Sandogasa to have the same as the straw hat.
unfortunately the game doesnt have icons in the FCS when im editing and there is a few items where im not sure how they look.
Primearch 24 Dec, 2018 @ 10:16am
I really like the mod, but I'm a little confused as to why the Sandogasa doesn't have the same crossbow effect or something equally as appealing compared to the Straw Hat. Not a huge deal, only just not much of a point in using the Sandogasa outside of looks.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 19 Dec, 2018 @ 6:56am
ty, i missed those.
the update will be out soon.
Mr Wibble 19 Dec, 2018 @ 2:31am
I think there's a couple of items with wrong values:
- Monk Pants Right Leg coverage is set to 10 but Left Leg is set to 100
- Spiked Helmet has 0.3 weather protection, but no weather set
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 9 Dec, 2018 @ 9:06am
ah i see it
the decimal point is in the wrong spot
ill get that update out today. already fixed it but im in another game atm.
Shidan 9 Dec, 2018 @ 8:24am
Tagelmust by the looks of things. Has a 10.5 dodge mult instead of a 1.05
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 9 Dec, 2018 @ 6:07am
can you tell me which hat it is? i looked throu them and did not see one with a typo.
EDF Air raider 8 Dec, 2018 @ 11:20pm
hello, you might want to check the headgear that nomad wearing,it gives 10.2x dodge,is that intentional?
Nesano 25 Nov, 2018 @ 7:59pm
I'd been forgetting to ask. Could you make a version of this that only changes weather resistance?
[TVM] MissChloe 25 Nov, 2018 @ 1:35pm
Any visual changes? If so, please post images!
Nesano 21 Oct, 2018 @ 7:26am
The trick would be tying it into strength somehow, but I guess encumbrance already does that.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 21 Oct, 2018 @ 7:08am
you can make one.
modding is pretty simple.
then you could make them to your vision of how you see they should be.
most everything is self explanatory in the FCS.
it only gets complicated when you add new Meshes/models

and armours, you only need to edit stats 0-1 section in items, Armour subsections.
Nesano 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:58am
I wonder if somebody would be willing to make some sort of "Authentic Heavy Armor Penalties" mod, then.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:39am
you wouldn't like my idea of overhauling the heavy armours. i would make the penalties steeper.

which is why i did not change them in this mod, ( except adding more resistances to them ) i know many people wouldn't agree with my idea of how they should be.
Nesano 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:28am
Ah, alright. It might be worth making a "Nekos Armor Overhaul" for making armor more authentic, since this mod's specifically for clothing. That'd be down to your levels of inspiration, though.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:20am
it is not
it was made to give clothing a use. actually it was originally meant to only give the Gi Set a use, but i thought, what the heck, rest should have a use too.
and to also give everything resistances.
those penalties are vanilla settings for heavy Armour.

I also should have a update coming out soon, just been busy irl.
Nesano 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:02am
Was this mod made with authenticity in mind? Heavy armor shouldn't have penalties that steep.
Nesano 18 Oct, 2018 @ 9:58am
Also, an Armored Hood gives less weather protections than Armored Face Plates. A hood should have high weather protections while face plates should have minimal protections.
Nesano 16 Oct, 2018 @ 8:54am
The attack damage bonus on Samurai Clothpants is pretty OP. It's good enough with just the athletics and dexterity buff.
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 13 Oct, 2018 @ 7:38pm
can not add that in.
there is no option to add resistances to any backpacks.
Nesano 13 Oct, 2018 @ 7:23pm
Trader's Wooden Backpacks have an umbrella-like cover that connects to the backpacks, so they should probably provide acid resistance.
BigRowdy 12 Oct, 2018 @ 2:56pm
looking forward to this one hat. atta girl! just waiting for all updates
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 11 Oct, 2018 @ 2:13pm
thanks Nyu, ill get that added some time tonight.
Nyu 11 Oct, 2018 @ 9:31am
sorry but it hurts my modding heart https://imgur.com/a/0nSwVdZ
Hatsune Neko Gaming  [author] 10 Oct, 2018 @ 7:20am
im not basing this on reality.
most of this is to give these items a use in game. which the Dev forgot to do.

The heavy amours get all the glory. now too shall cloth, though you cant really take a hit while wearing them, you are more nimble and deadly wearing next to nothing.
like slave rags, they make you more nimble and quick but sap your combat due to their normal use of the enslaved. which is how i plan to edit all gear worn by slaves.
Nesano 10 Oct, 2018 @ 12:40am
Oh, and it makes sense for shoes to make you run faster, but I don't see how other articles of clothing would increase your run speed.
