Hi guys 2 new ships added to the collection The Twins Hansel and Gretel meant for the Future Interceptor Battleships they are torpedo screen ships with stacked internals at half the size of Z-7
but offering triple the Strength

The only limiting factor is your imagination the build tool is a very powerful tool you can do a lot

Just need time aye I do have plans for bigger ships just gotta find time a big thing I have planned is a giant Super Cap Carrier which also acts as a shipyard/mobile fortress but as of yet the thoughts i have of it in my head not 100% sure if it fits the design aestheti so Ye 🤷‍♂️ but bigger ships 100% planned and more fighters too but again big thing is finding time to do it

I love the designs! Although I do wanna ask, (And i'm sure youve been asked before.) Have you ever been tempted to make a 15 slot ship? Or do you believe that should be reserved for some, Grand as-of-yet thought up design? simple curiosity!

Not really a remake its basically the same hull just just some minor differences just a revamp really but i will probably post it as its own class and i dont really want to update the existing Bismarck because some people might like the original hull it has and the Bismarck needs her sister ship to got with it and historically wise the Tirpitz was around for a little longer so it saw upgrades in terms of AA and Tirpitz was slighty longer so i gave her some extra length too

so you gona remake that one? well you always show a great effort and stile so waithing its nothing

Also just incase some people are interested i am doing a revamp of the Bismarck but i am probably going to make it a whole new class of ship specifically the Tirpitz class differences are just less clutter of detail and more thought out PDC coverage and some better detailing

I never did think that Tie Fighters fit with the Graf Zepplin.

And currently the old design imo looks like a ugly milk cow of a fighter and for the new one i would want a Falken esk fighter from Ace combat mashed with a Messerschmitt Bf 109

I did have one back when i first built the bismarck just i wasnt happy with the design but the Graf Zepplin had to have some detail so i just slapped the old fighter on it but i was planning for a bigger super capital carrier with alot more aggresive fighters but all in good time guess

Yes exactly that and i noticed he had the profile picture and name but i didn't want to look too much into it just want to say very well made comment couldn't have written it better i too think its compassionate the memory of the people lives on through the names of these ships they fought and died protecting. The names are staying i am not planning on changing i asked others they too think the change is not needed

Back onto why I'm typing this, personally I love your naming system and to me it feels original and fitting with your ship layouts and designs as well as kinda paying tribute to the sailors who did serve back then, when someone signs up to be a soldier it is 1st and foremost to protect our home, our loved one's, our way of life, our culture, our lives, soldiers give our lives in the worst situation to protect your's to be honest. So I feel its somewhat compassionate at least to me the names of those ships live on, to me its no different than modeling a ship after hornet or wasp and naming it as such, or hood, or queen elizabith, or illustirous, or littero etc.

It is bringing awareness to history and the people that lived it. Good and bad.

Arakiss personally I love the naming system you're using and the style of ships you are making, it honestly make me thing a little of space battleship yamato which i enjoyed a lot. Also I do want to point that the person who's been talking to you is using a german ww2 soldier profile picture and is using currently the Name tirpitz on steam currently. something to consider when deciding what to do in regards to his request.

Either way I'd love if you leave the names as they are as while that war was indeed horrible there was important lessons learned from it, on that note no nation was innocent or justified during that war, no nation ever is, history is written by the victorious. I'm not excusing the crimes that were committed, just some crimes were louder and brought up more often than other's post war.

First of all, change the names of your ships, which I like very much, because they are very reminiscent of the war, and they always remind me of the outrage that arose. Of course you can not change what happened, but at some point you have to stop it. For naming you have enough templates from film, television and books, but it really has to be this Nazi bitch ???? Hope for your understanding and always think of the millions of deaths that resulted from this war.

But I honestly don't know how to respond to the 2nd part of the comment never been good with this type of stuff history can be hard to touch over sometimes specially with the events we are talking about but the way I see it is its history you can't change it all we can do is learn from it and not repeat it. ye not to sure what else to say I may change some names/words if people really aren't comfortable with them but in my opinion I wouldn't be comfortable with that I hope you don't take this the wrong way but ignoring it can be bad too but mate im sorry if you didn't get the response you were looking for but im just not sure how to respond I always thought I would get a comment like this back when I built the Bismarck (over a year ago at this point) but the comment never came I always thought about how I would respond to this but after typing this I think it came out far worse than I thought about again im sorry if it offended anyone in some way but that truly wasn't my intention

I'm just looking at your ship collection and have to say, have become very good. You have handled shape, color and style very well, I have to admit (+1). The only thing that bothers me is the names of the spaceships, which remind us of the shit Nazi past of the Germans and of the terrible war that cost millions of people all over the world their lives. Just remember Japan, which got two nuclear bombs and millions of people lost their lives in seconds. I can not understand that it has to be emphasized again and again and this shit is remembered. I think there are enough online games that earn money with enthusiasm. I save now the names of these games, but must be synonymous here with Avorion ????? Despite everything I like the ships a lot, but I do not think that I am subscribing to them in this condition. Sorry !!! As I said, it must stop listening to the Nazi theme of the Germans, because even the suffering today with this brand of shame.
