@enderandrew: I already responded in your thread (the "kid" that posted those 2 links ;) ). I like the idea, but I don´t think I can dedicate enough time to be truly helpful.

@mcdougle - have you seen this thread on the forums?

I'm trying to see if the community would be willing to contribute to community art resource pack.

If you make it look like it's mowed it might hide the grid a little better. Just an thought as I have no clue how to do that sort of thing.

now change a lamp post to a tree!!!! Nah, just kidding, this actually looks very good and if you dont modify it I will still use it. I can suspend disbelief, or just say that the lawnscapers plant grass in grids cause its easier. Heck in the real world now you can get rolls of grass in square or rectangle shapes and unroll it in your yard and it has the same lines.

I noticed that, too. I merely took a (most likely WIP) HBS ressource though and tweaked the color/contrast values- so I´ll probably wait till release before I change anything else. You can see this as a custom-prop-ContentPack-test. ;)

Looks pretty good, but the seams between the tiles seems really obvious. Not sure what you can do about that other than making a handful of slight variations so it looks less tiled.

NOTE: I can't check it out in the game yet so I'm basing this on the screenshot
