Just copy the "liveries" folder from 1533026394 to 1326432592. When you go to paint the car the liveries will be there. :)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\1533026394
The Firebird Trans Am is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\1326432592
Once you know where the workshop mods folder is located, you can search on Google for any mod and the folder number will be displayed in the url window. :)
Your Welcome.
Then Copy them out of there and put then into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars\FulysicFirebirdJon\Liveries Folder
You are Welcome, I enjoyed making them.
Also, Thank You jjeff1955 for making so many choices, they are working, and looking very well in game!
locate folder 645630 were your steam is installed ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\) , fine and open folder 1533026394 and copy liveries folder content to \steamapps\workshop\content\645630\1326432592\Liveries)
Subscribe to them and then Copy and Paste them into your Firebird Liveries Folder.
When I see a Steam profile that isn't completed and nothing on it about owning the game, I can't help but wonder if they're trying to use steam mods on pirated games. Anyone not using a legit Steam version of CMS won't have the folders needed.
But it may well be someone new trying to figure it out - so I try to help just in case... :)
I appreciate your Help.
Did you find the 645630 folder?
Inside that navigate to 1533026394 folder - that's the liveries for the Firebirds. Open it and copy the liveries folder inside.
Then go back to 645630 folder and find the 1326432592 folder - that's the Firebird mod folder. Open that and paste the liveries folder there.
Then when you go to paint the car the liveries will be options.
If you can be more specific than "it doesn't work" I'll be glad to help. :)
I was using my Laptop for the Steam Location and did not have the CMS2018 installed, so I had to leave that 643630 Folder out.
Yes a Shortcut is for sure needed for the Desktop for easy access.
Cheers.
This is confusing for many people, partly because not everyone will have Steam installed to default location (C:\Program Files). But once you find the 643630 folder, all mods are installed to the same numbered folders for everyone.
EG: In mine the correct path to Fulysic's Firebird is D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\1326432592.
Another trick is to look at the top of the comments page (this page) for the correct folder. In this case 1533026394 is the correct folder for this liveries mod for everyone. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Hope this helps. :)
Then the Liveries go into the Liveries Folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content
for put in liveries folder
Just subscribe to it and then go into your Downloaded content Folder and Copy the Liveries from there, and past them into your Car Liveries Folder, minus the upload preview and config.is not needed.
look at the game's default Cars folders and you will see how to get them into the T/A's car Folder.
I am happy that you like it.
I do have the charcoal Version for the 1980 Turbo T/A with the Scoop Flames, but waiting for Update.
Just now noticed that I have the Charcoal Bird already in this Kit, is there more that needs to be done to it? Let me know if I missed anything?
