@lordnequam - Your website is no longer accessible there is just a login page and nothing else. I get a "Page not found" on the site when trying to access "http://www.jessejackjones.com/mods" .

After all of your fine work on the land units, I find that I prefer the naval units, not least because I don't have to look around for so much coal. For that reason, I save this civ for those times when I load a map that has lots and lots of water.

Oh its cool man, I really like all the three civs you've made. I am eagered to see the next work, so please take your time! Their stories are quite lovely, I tried looking them up and find nothing because I am such a curious rat. Really you've done awesome works of art in mod making well to me. So thank you for answering my question and have fun creating.

@Equinexsickle - All three civs (along with a fourth one I work on every once and a while called the Fabricators) share an interrelated backstory. It's nothing really important to the game; something I throw in more for myself and anyone that cares. I don't really have the time right now to develop it much more than that, though, so I probably won't be coming out with a scenario any time soon.

Do any of these civs connect with each other? Ever thinking on making a scenerio with all three of them but still put them as a separate mod for each so you can play as them indivually? It would be intreasting.

Thanks for the help. Document looks like it will be alot of help.

@AirtightSprings3 - It's done in ModBuddy. You can find a really good walkthrough (the one I used when making my Civs) here [forums.civfanatics.com].

Which tool in Civ 5 SDK do you use to make new civilizations?
Aphelion 20 Oct, 2013 @ 10:39pm
i said the same thing for your dna based mod (which is brilliant!):
see if you can get some pics.
for the clockwork knight you could use a pic of the clockwork knight from dont starve (dont forget to add copyright though)
great mod though!
lordnequam  [author] 13 Sep, 2013 @ 3:06pm
@XxMansouryxX - You use the Civ 5 SDK. You automatically get it for free with any copy of Civ 5 you purchased. If you check under Library > Tools, you should see it.

how do u make mods
lordnequam  [author] 14 Jul, 2013 @ 10:08am
@Theaaman2 - Unfortunately, I do the mods for fun. I don't know anyone with the time, skills, and interest to do that and teaming up with a random stranger is not something I find enjoyable.

@Muad'Dib - I picked up BNW on sale the other day and I'm playing around with it right now. Once I've gotten a bit of a feel for the new mechanics, I'll be releasing updated versions of all my mods for the new expansion.

will this be available for brave new world
Teraxith 11 Jul, 2013 @ 2:38am
My only quarrel with this mod are the civilization colors. Red and green just don't seem very fitting :<
Theia 8 Jul, 2013 @ 6:17am
HHHmmm.... no feasable way to make a vanilla version eh?.....Try teaming up with someone with more skills for a vinilla version
lordnequam  [author] 2 Jul, 2013 @ 10:57pm
@SlaterJacobM - At present, I'm not too sure...but the idea is that they would focus on their cities instead of units, per se. All their buildings would be better, the cities would attack better, and they could promote their workers to units capable of building Great Person tile improvements, which would allow for Citadels to defend their territory and far more productivity from tile improvements.

@Faluzure - That would be amazing, but such a project would require artistic skills far in excess of my own.
Faluzure 2 Jul, 2013 @ 2:55pm
The machine temple reminded me so much of Warhammer 40k, I wish there was an Imperium, or Hive races to play in Civ V
Master_Slater_Guy 1 Jul, 2013 @ 3:52pm
Actually I looked around and heard about the Fabricators. May i ask how they would play like?
Master_Slater_Guy 1 Jul, 2013 @ 2:52pm
Pretty awesome i must say, any plans for more?
scottkbeers 24 Jun, 2013 @ 11:56pm

And if the Artificers don't tickle your fancy, perhaps you can look into the Eugenicists and their bio-centric forces. The the entire non-naval unit tree has been modified to employ only biological units!

See if it's something you'd like to try at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=154106187
