A quick fix for the bug, where the ship just goes to the edge of the solar system:

Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1536784731\common\component_templates
Open: sb_yamato_utilities
Under utility_component_template, change the line ship_behavior = "artillery" to ship_behavior = "line"

Worked for me at least

What I love most about this mod is it captures what the Yamato is meant to be. It's not just another battleship, It's a goddamn force of nature that will look at a 200 to 1 fight and pity the enemy which is why I am glad that this mod encapsulates

Updated: Major changes:
-added missing codes
-now uses Titan naming
-Build limit remove (As of Stellaris 3.4, this code has been replaced and moved to a different file, editing that file will make the mod incompatible with alot of mod and i dont want that so build limit has now been removed.)
-For now, no major stat change (Plan to buff it again soon)
(For the love of god, control yourself and dont build too much of this, you'll ruin your own fun but oh well, if thats what you want, lol)

Is it normal for these ships military power to suddenly go from (example) 435K power to just 1 power? I would be preparing for a fight, I bild 3 yamatos, and their attack power looks normal, but after some time of just sitting in my home star system, untouched since i built them, their attack opwer suddenly drops to 1 (3 attack power total since i'd have them in their own fleet).

The blocked slots' problem has been solved by installing the mod UI Overhaul 1080p Plus. But I still can't pick the wave motion gun and Idk why. The only mod that change/add the ship designer is your other mod Space Battleship Arcadia (that's working fine).

I found a bug. I can't pick the way motion gun in the ship designer. When I click to choose the weapon there is no weapon to pick (so I can't put it on the ship). also some free slots are blocked by the description of the ship so I can't click on them (if there are any mods that risolve this problem tell me). except these two incovenience the mod is great, perfect for a galattic domination:steamthumbsup:

That all said : You made the turrets movable objects? Congratulations on a job well done! Even the big SW mod didnt care about that to date (and we all know how badass it would look if those ships would have the guns where they are supposed to be and shoot from them as well!). Sadly the engine is limited, thus firearcs are non existent but thats not your mistake. Hope Stellaris 2 wich will be release around 2040 thou, will fix this and get away from big small ship fleets to proper fleets from anime/scifi and ofc. single ship being able to do and survive stuff (corvetts are useless when you hit BB, as are Destroyers.. they just die like flies and cant even take the L and T slot shots anymore as they have target priority for big ships)

Some things you should update : 1. The tripple main shock cannons are 510 mm ones (Yes the space battleship has bigger guns than the original, thou the museum version we will see in the movie (wich is 333m long as well) has those already (in the trailer you can see her in Kure habor already and she is way bigger than the 260 meter original)) 2. The secondary tripples are also beefed up to 203 mm. The puls cannons are all 40 mm.

That said : The shock cannons lack firepower against shield thats true, but their not as OP against hull and armor as you make them look. And their not that useless against shields. Give them the Laser modifiers and we are all good.

⎛⎝Z⎠⎞: I decided to centralized/normalized it's weapon components instead of using vanilla game weapons, almost all custom weapons are filler with a bit more dmg to them compared to vaniila, I didnt bother specifying what AA type, other secondary weapons it have that's why I just named it ingame with "Secondary weapon" for medium slot then a choice between Kinetic or Energy point Defense, theyre almost identical to vanilla weapons, just a bit more dmg tho., the only exemptions are the WMG, Main XL plus the L slots weapon which is basically the XL lancer vanilla weapon with a few damage changes fitted to an L slot.
same goes for the missiles LOL

you are here now so i missed many updaes i thing.

waht gun is the Large Gun and waht is the medium gun?
ask only for: normla yamato have 3 extra lage. 2 large. and not medium guns. in the middel only 4x4 AA, 9x2 AA, 2x3 AA 8torpedos (per side).
6front and 6 back torpedos. and in the chimney 8or more rockets (in the last movies and serie).

Also I dont think that namelist works lol, I just keep it there incase they update the game to read custom namelist for stand alone ships LOL

questions:
for waht stand the ARP

why the Yamato have for names : kongo,bismarck,kirishima,haruna,hyuuga?
and not :
Yamato,Musashi,Shinano,Ginga ?
(i know yamato and musashi are in the list.)

@Ino: It's probably cuz of other mod, I haven't played 2.8 cuz I dont own necro, also, I didnt add any settings to allow ai to build this, as I know it requires editing 1 file which I didnt include (unless the game change who they read new additional ships) but if it didnt change, it cause of it might be the warship girls config file.

@蓝迪筱弟: I do believe the mod should work fine regardless of the ! on the launcher.

@Nyananymous: As long as you dont upload it to the workshop or any site, you're free to change how many you can build, it should be this line:

empire_limit = {
......base = 2
......max = 8
......naval_cap_div = 250
}

(No dots of coarse)
base is the starting amount, max is the maximum, naval cap div is Per +1 everytime you increase your naval cap by 250

should be inside sby\common\ship_sizes\sb_yamato.txt
