@tealtiger8 I've not done much with it since I rebuilt the design. It needs to be brought up to date. I'm not sure how it would fair, however if you keep it to your fore and slightly above you, it brings most of the weapons to bear, so should fair rather well since it is so heavily armored.

Yes, but even at full capacity it only had about 100 hours because of the amount of thrusters on the ship. To have 600+ hours, you'd need hundreds of t3 fuel cells, which would make the cost astronomical as well as make it a huge bomb. Once the armor shielding the fuel bays is gone, you've lost everything in that section of the ship.

Remember the orignal they were in the most armored anti lag shot zone which was the front mid

The problem with having that much fuel, especially with as many thrusters are required on this thing so it's not a brick..is that it will need hundreds of fuel stores and that makes it a flying nuke. If those fuel stores get hit then half your ship is gone.

that be nice, uum perhaps make 2 or 3 version? i miss the days of ships having nearly 600+ hours of fuel..

I can update this for A9.4 and make a higher class size version.

@Sarah Size class 100+ can cause severe game lag and crashing even in single player. The original Icarus design was only class 40.

do you plan to make more? id like a level 25 size class 100+ if possible ^_^ simular to the original

Love the "fake thrusters". At first glance I thought you had managed to get different colored flames on your thrusters, then realized I was looking at shaped blocks. I wasn't expecting that so it took me a moment to realize that I was really looking at.

@Sarah, I had the same issue before I ever built this one. It seems to be a game problem with some BPs disappearing from your list. The Icarus BP will show up sometimes, and sometimes it won't.

i subbed to yours and the original seemed to of disapeared

@Sarah, Shouldn't, as it's a completely new BP/build done from scratch.
