I am only finding out now after coming back after years.
Was moreso making a slight (horrible) joke about how gigastructures continues to get bigger as it absorbs more megastructure mods.

When you say "Gigas" are you referring to "Gigastructural Engineering & More"? That mod links to this one and its awfully confusing.

The mod hasn't really changed since it was first made. It should work fine.

Too anyone and everyone this is now built into the mod itself. so you no longer need this unless you are messing with the older versions.

I love this! Though I think I'd replace the ringworld for videogamers with an unfinished star lifter over a red dwarf (it was once a giant) and an Yggdrasil Orchid.

Do you plant to include FA systems with Gigastructure's additional defensive structures?
Like: Asteroid artillery, Planetary Defense Nexus or maybe Maginot world.

They could be slightly weaker or not, because of ruined or neglected, and non-capturable if aquring them would give too much advantage.
If needed, they could self destruct upon defeat/capture (because of very advanced FE tech) but still give resource/alloys from the wreckage.
Just to make FA systems more close to the power they could have been, and that players would need to work harder to defeat them.

I'm not sure how another mod could possibly break this one, unless they did some extraordinarily stupid things like deleting planets at the start of the game from script or deleting fallen empires at the start of the game because this mod barely overwrites anything, and of what it does overwrite, none of it is core to the mod's working (awakening, FE tasks, and xenophobe FE triggers)

also not sure how you somehow came to conclusion, nor why you complain about it on only this mod page, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Already said, but big lag spike at the start of the game, last for about 2-3 months though so not really a deal breaker

yeah it might cause lag issues at the start because it gives the materialists (both kinds) extra techs, and I spread it around so that you don't get a massive lag spike in the first month

either that or the brain itself is causing lag issues, neither of which I can do a whole lot about

Weird thing seems to be happening with this mod after the latest Gigas update. I'm getting stutters right at the start of a new game, but they don't seem to affect saves that were already made before the update, and they disappear when this mod is disabled. Tested it with a dozen or so starts, and it seems to be whenever one of the Gaming Group FEs is on the map.

Does the AI know how to handle the Genocidal Maniacs as they seem to want two empty systems as a buffer rather than just one like the vanilla Xenophobe FE.

it's probably gigas tbh, my mod mostly just does some event stuff, most it does is monthly for the gamers opinion, which shouldn't run if you don't have the gamers, and should be rather light

I've experienced some lag issues after going modded on 3.0.3 and wasn't sure if it was caused by gigas or my increases to number of pops (didn't have this loaded), so if that's worth anything, there you go

After a bit more testing i can say that only when i have both gigastructures and this mod enabled my games stutters, tested with new game.

Hi, i'm experiencing stuttering with this mod enabled, the issue is probably on my side (3.0.3 beta)

when i have this mod active everytime a day passes in game i get microfreezes/stuttering i thought there was an copatibility issue between other mods so i disabled all mods, i only left gigastructures and this mod active loaded under it, i still get stutters, i tried unsuscribing and then suscribing again, nothing changes.

i'm not accusing your mod to be bugged, i just wanted to get some help.

Btw thank you for this amazing mod.

Sorry to bug with this again, but the repaired Nicoli-Dyson Beam doesn't seem to be working still, I could repair it now, but after doing so, it lacks a description and has no firing button.

Xexman, they probably think they declared you their rival because you selected the "Become the Crisis" ascension perk which reduces relations with fallen empires. You'll just have to live through it

I have a problem am just running this and Giga, when i come across a fallen empire they keep thinking i declared them my rival. My version is the dick patch

My one complaint is that the Materialist FE always seems to be the Gamer one and the Spiritualist the Vanilla one w/o the hypersiphon.

So, I love this mod. The one minor bug I've been noticing is mysterious rings around absolutely nothing. I'm not sure what the fix is, but I assume this is caused by an oversight in the event that deletes their original planets. The other thing is that I'm not seeing the full variation of fallen empires you list here. Disintrested Gamers seem to always be there, and everyone else is just their vanilla selves. I've seen some megastructures but not the more impressive ones besides gamer VR.
