i tried it but the animation was frozen on the tv's on to the crafting table scene in the animation and didn't play or anything

They explicitly left Evil Dead references like this out of the game because either people would be too distracted by its beauty to kill zombies or people would become severely depressed at the knowledge that they will never be as good at killing zombies as Ash.
