this mod really needs a overwork, an update, a transformation from 1.0 to 1.4
it used to be a solid mod, but now it's more a mess than fun to use.
outdated textures, outdated gameplaymechanics, outdated race-boni / stats, ....as of now, the seriously only reason to use this mod is the plasma javelin and that's not a good enough reason to accept all the bugs it's constantly causing.
SYR, i hope you get that done during this year! i know, plenty of other mods that are much more used, but there's simply no real snakesfolk out there :')

Had a naga give birth recently. given that its a modded species i fully expected it to do what the cat species i have did and just bork the texture of the body so its basically a floating naga head on a colored square. I did not expect the baby to come out fully grown with its own ideology and absolutely no traits XD

I have no idea how to fix this either. Its zero years old and has less personality than the walls of the kitchen. One of my mods (no clue which one) has locked me out of the dev menu so i cant even assign traits manually.

So I'm getting a red error in the log saying:

No, because I don't own Biotech and I don't plan on buying it. I haven't enjoyed playing RimWorld since years and I only updated my mods to work (more or less) with 1.4.

Could happen that that changes but I don't want to make empty promises.

Please, for the love of god, implement an antivenom! Or make it so that getting a wound patched up by a doctor prevents the venom from increasing afterwards!

It looks like visual cybernetics like bionic eyes or archotech eyes appear in the middle of the forehead instead of over where the eyes would normally be.

so it appears that is a naga gets a tail shot off it will die or bleed out life it the heart was hit/destroyed. If this is intended can you please add a mod option to remove this.

One of my naga's got into a social fight and the venom buildup killed the other colonist. So how do we deal with the venom? is there an antivenom? Or are any pawns that happens to get the envenomed doomed?

This is rather trivial but in the description you said their homeworld became inhabitable, which is not what I believe you intended. I believe you were looking for the word un-inhabitable.

They are patched to not affect them. If you still get the thoughts there might be a mod conflict.

hi, i wanted to ask if the precept for pants (<gender> clothing) could be disabled for nagas? some of mine have a "uncovered groin -5" mood but they are unable to wear pants

Can always do the 50/50 way of figuring it out. Remove half the mods from your modlist, check if error appears. If not, you know it's the other half. Then split that half and so on.

First I loaded the game up with only this mod and its requirements, that all worked correctly as it should, so it is a mod incompatibility/load order issue, but I haven't been able to narrow it down since all mods that even seem slightly suspicous of causing this issue don't seem to cause it at all when loaded up together, but for some reason with my current modlist the operations add bill menu won't work correctly at all.

I've provided you with the hugslib log at the bottom of my comment so that you can see what mods I am running and in what order, together with my debug log which don't seem to ever contain any errors related to this issue.

I hope you might be able to find out more than I can, since I don't know what to do next as I seem to be unable to narrow it down. If I can still help in any other way please let me know how.

For some reason I cannot do any surgeries besides administering drugs on this race. No errors related to this issue. I found this when I recruited one that had its eye and arm cut off and wanted to give it new prosthetic ones.

The mod load order is correct, I also play with EPOE Forked, do you think that has anything to do with it? I don't have any mods that interfered with this mod before. You might want to look into this because it is really annoying if this doesn't work. I could test with no other mods other than this one and its dependencies to see if this issue still persists. Let me know if you want me to do this or if you want to test it yourself.

I don't think you have to worry if you're starting a new game. Someone probably set it up so my mod gets loaded before back in 1.2 and didn't do the same for mlie's version.

If you're in a playthrough I wouldn't replace the mods though and wait for your next one.

RimPy is saying that this mod should be loaded before [021]Toolbox, that wasn't the case with Mlie's version. I'm afraid of replacing the mod will cause incompatibilities and load order issues

If you ever revisit this - I've been analyzing weapons from various mods; and it took me a moment to realize that the Naga's plasma-weapons are hands-down better than Vanilla's charge-weapons. The in-game description mentions them being slightly worse than charge-weaponry, but much better than industrial weaponry; perhaps they need a small nerf, if that's the intent?

Why are the venomous fangs like this? They CONSTANTLY kill my colonists every time because even ONE hit results in the buildup going to 100%! Could you please make it so that a single Naga hit doesn't just inevitably kill someone?

This may not be specific to this mod, but - is there any way to see this information (and the similar information about your other races) *ingame*? I click a pawn's infocard, hit the (i) button, and click the "Naga" entry, but it only shows me some summary data; no specific stats like those listed above:

Hell, even specifically hovering over something like "aiming time" in the infocard makes no specific mention of anything relating to the Naga. )=

Am I dumb, or is this information simply not exposed anywhere in-game?
