From what I can work out which poses are unlocked seemed to be tied to the weapons the trooper's equipped with, so cannon allows the grenadier ones.
My mistake on the Captured pose. Looking at this .ini, maybe editing it to
+m_arrAnimationPoses=(AnimationName="Photobooth_KidnappedSoldierPoses",AnimationOffset=.25,AnimType=ePAFT_None)
Will enable the pose.
I have been unable to reproduce the compatibility issues people have mentioned. The pose pack works fine for me.
I used this with Community Pose Pack in my last campaign, no issues.
@j2deline: Unfortunately I'm not currently able to investigate how this interacts with other mods and custom classes.
@Slackboy101: No compatibility patch is planned. I'm using the Community Pose Pack with no issues. What problems are you seeing?
I'm not sure when I'll be able to update, but I'll try for early next week. Feel free to upload if you prefer that, though.
I found a potential fix / solution (still playtesting, but so far it looks good) for the compatibility issues that this mod has with other mods that add Photobooth poses (like Musashi's Ballistic Shield or the community pose pack) when I rewrote it for my own use from scratch with the goal to fix that problem.
Do you want to implement the fix yourself into your mod (The only thing that really changed compared to your mod is the localisation file where I basically removed the name assignment of all poses and added them again) or would you prefer if I publish my rewrite while giving credit to you?
I am using the community pose pack and Musashi's Ballistic Shield.
I'm using this and the Community Pose Pack without issues. I don't use the shield mod though.
If by "reset my TLP campaign" you mean regenerate your .ini config files then yes.
I would recommend you start tracking user reports of compatible mods on your description page. The mods below worked for me with your mod on a new campaign.
WotC: More Photobooth Options
Propaganda Poster Pack
Richard's Classes
Disable Random Posters
More Photobooth Quotes
The user is attempting to use this mod on an existing pre-TLP campaign.
Ask them to try a new campaign (and refresh their ini's) and see if the issue resolves.
*** Likely Cause No.3 ***
The user is attempting to use this alongside WC_PhotoReBooth.
That mod is incompatible with most other Photobooth mods due to how script heavy it is (including my own Photobooth Quotes mod).
Stress tested the mod by installing it on a post-TLP campaign in-mission with Richard's custom classes and many Photobooth mods.
Works perfectly for me. I have three theories why it is causing issues for some people.
*** Like Cause No.1 ***
The user has not regenerated their .ini config files since TLP hit. They need to do this.
I refreshed my config files (using -regenerateinis) and it worked fine.
@Johnbarbosa: The pose is called "Captured". I chose not to unlock that one because it looked like doing so might interfere with the game's ability to generate posters for when your soldiers get caught by the Chosen.
Thank you so much.
I'd used the -regenerateinis switch to refresh my Config s before hand.
exemple:
pose name: hand on hips 1
pose shown: over the shoulder ( 5 above pose name)
real pose under: thumb up ( 5 below pose name)
hope that help
If you're having problems try refreshing your configs.
@Djackdau:
I did notice this at the top of the XComContent.ini
PhotoboothPostProcessChainName=XComEngineMaterials.PostProcess.PostProcess_Photobooth
It's not in the usual remove or add a line format. Maybe that's messing with stuff..?
might be a good idea to join the modder's discord. You'd be able to find out what's up. Generally issues like this don't happen if you can get functionality built into the Highlander for ya.
or at least ask some of the coders about it, like robojumper or RealityMachina.
