Would love to see an optional/supplemental version that lets you heal starving bandits, escaped slaves, and any of the handful of other factions that simply attack you because they are starving after you beat them down. The ones that say things like "give us your food" or attack me to loose my food, not my gear, I always feel bad for putting those guys down.
I'd also love to see a mod that makes those groups have dialog more often than just attacking. I like being able to give food or money over just fighting. Not having the food or money to give still results in a fight either way, so the game just feels more alive when you at least have the option..
The Improve Relationship by Healing mod requires a Kit for it to work,
There are some links on google where you can download the mod without steam and searching first 2 i recommend . (can't link them cause they get removed)
Thank you for making such an great mod and helping community members like me out!
You have a kind heart!
Have to open mod and press changes and then double press on the packages.
then on the specific lines there are some effects.
Perfect thank you!
i opened the mod data file, i see a bunch of dialoges and they dont have any effects?
example "Civ healed by neutral" I see the conditions but no effects. Am i missing something?
Aaah thanks for providing that information i did not know.
Is there a way to increase the amount of relationship gained?
Each character has a set of personality tags. They range from things like "stupid" to "kind". Depending on what randomly given tag that person has, they will respond to being in different ways. There might be a combination of traits that trigger something, I can't recall exactly as it has been a while. The person has to be awake for them to give you the reputation.
If a person is stupid and nasty, there is a chance that they will not understand what you are doing. If a person is honorable, they will give you more relationship to their faction.
Could you be more detailed about when its positive and when not and how much?
Could you add this info to the mod description as i believe such info is very important
how much improved relationship does this give?
Can you make a pop up or something to show when relation is increased?
Whats the differance between this and "https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1950231883" mod?
But I really think you should build it in a separate branch. I (and I assume some other guys) wanted your mod to be able to improve faction releations. Recruiting is a completely different topic and should be a separate mod for all those who are fine with the way it is.
Anyways, just a suggestion for improvement if you want to keep it:
You should make the "dialogue" a dialogue :)
The way it is now does not fit into Kenshi's atmosphere ("recruit person y/n")... The NPC should talk to you such as "Please help me, my leg's broken! I'll be in your debt forever!"
To revert this change, I only need to set "chance permanent" in dia_recruitPerson to 0, correct?
I was like:
> Browsing the mods I subscribed
> Didn't find this one.
> ah, I didn't even subscribe to it. No wonder it didn't work.
> Search: healing
> ... wait, wut? I already have this one?
> "The people need to be awake for this to work."
> Okay... Should've seen this before...
Hm. It worked for me without importing. But not for all. Shek seem to be "immune".
