Hi. Do you mean a base Template? If yes, add me on steam and we will talk privatly, instead of writing 100 comments here.

Well, it is already finished, but only Part 2, and I have placed the template there, but only to be prepared for the next parts where it is going to be used. I was almost ready with the mission when I decided to use it and it will be used in my next parts. :) I spent a lot of time with the details, but I also placed additional objects around. :)

Good to know, thank you for your advice. Also, let me know when your mission is finished :3

Thank you very much. :) Let me tell you what I've just found out about the file I mentioned. It's actually 2 files - ct_functions.sqf and ct_projects.sqf. They only appear if you use the Arma 3 composition tool, CompoT, from the WS when you create compositions and tools. When you enable this plugin from Tools in Eden you are able to use it when you press SHIFT+Spacebar. When you save a composition these 2 files will be required and you can find them in the root folder of Arma 3, but my advice is that you simply press Ctrl+F to search and then copy both files, then paste the in your mission's folder. These errors won't appear again.

Alright, glad you figured it out. Good luck and have fun! :D

On the other hand, I spent 2 days learning and posting discussions about how to place the template without any object separated from the other... and I managed to do it. It will be used in my further missions! :)

Thank you for your response. This is an error on the start of the mission and such .sqf files are always manualy added to the mission's folder by the creator of the mission. But I haven't added such a file and I though there were additional options or functions added and that's why it had to be such a file included. But if you don't know about this it's OK. It might be something connected to naval cannons' functionality, I guess, but I am not sure.

Hi. Sure, no problem. But I'm not really sure what ct_functions.sqf is and how to give it to you. As I'm a scripting beginner myself and I haven't met this file yet. As far as I know the Aircraft Carrier has no functions, appart from the "Initiate Launch" on the runway, that launches your jet for an easier take-off. If you explain to me, on how to find it and give it to you, I would do it with great pleasure!

This is a great tempate I am going to use, but ct_functions.sqf is missing. I suppose it is important for some functions of the carrier to work. Would you send me this file? I am creating a mission with the carrier now.

oh btw, for some reason i can't edit my comment. So: where i said:"then make a folder in your arma 3 profile and copy/move the mission file from this there." you will also need to: Give it a name and make: ex: Name.VR ; VR, because it's on the "Virtual Reality" map.
Sebi  [author] 23 Oct, 2018 @ 11:26am
erm, you need to take the mission file from the arma 3 > steamapps > addons, then make a folder in your profile and copy/move the mission file from this there. Then go to editor, and load the exported mission. Select the carrier > right click on it > save composition. Then load the composition when you need it, and... yeah. You're good to go. If you want i can put the mission file directly here. Probably will save u a lot of time and the others, but i don't really know how. I'll go find a way, and post it here when i'm done.
